    Bones in particular need calcium to keep them healthy. Milk is one of the best sources, but there are many other dairy products as well as, nuts/almonds, sardines/salmon with edible bones, leafy green vegetables, tortillas and shrimp are all good sources and there are many others. Bones also need a source of phosphorous and Vitamin D to keep healthy. You can get Vitamin D from oily fish, eggs, fortified fat spreads and fortified breakfast cereals. Powdered milk also contains vitamin D.

    Red meat, dairy products, fish, bread, rice and oats are good sources for phosphorous.
