    Bitter gourd with egg or "uyap" (can't recall right now its English or Tagalog term) and rice.

    Eggplant with egg and rice.

    Rice and Dry vegetable dish or fried fish/fried chicken (adobo)/fried pork.

    It can be as eccentric from "dinuguan" blood stewed meat, to a simple fried egg, "tocino", bacon..."tapa", beef jerky-ish..."tuyo", dried fish, along with sticky rice and "pandesal", breakfast roll. That is how they grind in Hawaii....
