What is your favorite bottle of wine?
We are of the belief that you don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Our price range is $10-20/bottle and always shop the sales. Right now we are loving a "Lab" Cabernet. "Smoking Loon" is always at the top too.
The one I'm drinking at any given moment. I knew nothing of wine outside of Mogan David before the Navy sent me to Spain for nearly 3 years. I "learned" to drink plain old Spanish "domestica", red table wine that went for about three cents a gallon! If you can drink that stuff, you can drink anything. I did discover that price is no indication of quality, and that there probably are more wine snobs per capita here in the U.S. than in Europe.
My current favorites are Texas wines produced by local (to me) vintners.
Depends, - for fish and/or curries I like a nice bottle of Vouvray, some thing like a turkey Christmas dinner - Rose d Anjou, I would probably go with that or perhaps Mateuse Rose with beef as I don't particularly like reds.
Grape wine. It is non-alcoholic and sweet, a little on carbonated side. Cost around $4 per bottle. Could drink the whole evening with content!
Magnificat....it's one of me and girlfriend's favorite wine. It's a blend and it goes down pretty smooth and it's not too fruity or dry. You can get it online or at Bevmo. Bevmo is a better place to get it due to sales. Normally a bottle will cost around $60 depending on the year but at Bevmo you can get it around $45 on sale for a 2006.
One that I bought at K-Mart years ago. It was green bottle that was about 5 feet tall. Oh yeah the wine itself tasted horrible!
I love Californian Zinfandel or failing that a really good Pinot Noir.
I enjoy chilled Folonari Pinot Grigio,,,it's a little dry and light. Cavit Pinot Grigio is a close second.

Is it just me or are there way too many brands of bottled water sitting on store shelves these days. I mean you walk into these supermarkets, and there are stacks and stacks of those packs of bottled water piled to the ceiling.I wonder what would happen if you took just one day, and went to every...

We have heard about the miracle where Jesus turned water to wine. People seem not to understand the type of wine that was made. Some said it was alcohol while some claim it was non-alcohol like fruit wine. I think a knowledge of the wine invoke at that time can give us an idea. Those that oppose...
