    What is the strangest thing you ever ate?
    No bug stories

    I had a very weird attraction to honey mustard. I used to eat it by the spoonful.
    But then someone caught mr spreading it on bread one day.
    My taste buds must have been morphing into something else.
    It was a phase.
    But at the time my brain told me it was good.
    Not now.

    Before I turned vegan, I'd have to say squid was probably the most unusual thing I had ever eaten. I had this meal in a restaurant in Denver, Colorado, possibly at the Radisson Hotel. I found the texture chewy, but the taste reminded me of potato. That was the only time in my life that I had it, but the memory remains.

    Of course that's all relative, but probably the strangest food from a Western point of view is guinea pig. It's a delicacy here in Peru and guinea pigs are raised like livestock to be eaten. When a friend offers it to you, it would be an insult to turn it down. We've had it fried, roasted and stewed. I like it the best fried. :   )
    Your honey mustard story is funny! I know what you mean about getting obsessed with certain foods.

    Since i am from the south i'mma have to say chitterlings(or pig stomach)is the strangest thing i have ate and still do eat from time to time if they are clean right
