    Why do you love Nutter Butter sandwich cookies so much?

    I know they are good, but why do you like them so much?

    My Mom and I have a bit of a history with Nutter Butters. For some reason we seem to gravitate towards these whenever we're in the girly things-aren't-going-well-so-let's-eat mode. The classic was the time we ate an entire package of Nutter Butters in the car while we were driving between the grocery store and our house (not a very long distance, by the way).

    The thing that's really weird though is that, in general, these are not my favorite type of cookie. If someone was to say "Let's get a snack", it is unlikely my first response would be "Let's get some Nutter Butters". But there is something in these cookies which makes them good comfort food.

    It is the combination of salty and sweet. Nutter Butter was doing this long before the Food Network came along and made it a fad.
