What is your all-time favorite sandwich or sub?
My all-time favorite sandwich is ham and swiss on rye with mayo, mustard, lettuce and tomato. How about you?
I'd have to say the BLT made with fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes, bacon, lettuce and mayo (the real stuff) on whole wheat bread. It's one of my favorite summertime dinners served with corn-on-the-cob.
I have two...bacon, egg & cheese with the bacon extra crispy on white bread. As asort of "comfort food" sandwich, tuna melt on toasted white bread. Since I love every type of cheese out there, I'm not picky about which type for either.
Hands down - A really good Reuben. Good thing I just ate dinner or I might have to run out and get the ingredients.
Hands down, Philly steak and cheese, all 800 or so calories in 8" of yummy goodness.
I love a good cheese ploughman's sandwich. Cheddar cheese, Branston's pickle, red onion, tomato lettuce and mayonnaise. I wish I had one now...
I LOVE sandwiches. My all time favorite has to be:
Mesquite smoke turkey
Place all ingredients on sour dough bread and toast it in an oven. Simply delicious!
My all time favorite sandwich is the a hoagie which were invented in Philadelphia and the one i love the most is the italian hoagie
Oh Goodness! I have many favorites, but I will always love a simple grilled cheese made with provolone cheese. Simple yet delicious!
Mm, you have good TASTE in sandwiches, janshares.!
I think my very all-time favorite is ham and provolone on (very) slightly toasted rye with pickled onions, tomato, lettuce and Italian dressing. I am also a huge Reuben fan!
Although, I rarely have it. I think mine is the Philly Steak. I get it with pepperjack, bell peppers, banana peppers, onions, and black olives, with sweet onion dressing.
I had a favourite some years ago - blue stilton cheese with horseradish sauce on wholemeal - but have progressed beyond that combo now! I go for smoked ham on wholemeal with lime pickle (a hot Indian pickle with tangy slices of lime) washed down with a good brew of strong tea!
I would have to say a roll with warm strips of chicken, red peppers, red onion, a slice of bacon and melted cheese on top. Yum...
I make my own sandwiches. Never had sub-way before. I love mayo, cucumber, tomato and cheese.
