What in world is dinosaur fruit?
Is it something that is left over from prehistoric times?
It is not a "dinosaur fruit", it is merely a cereal that tastes fruity by a brand which has a dinosaur logo and makes several other cereals. Crisp Crunch, Dinersaurs, Fruity Bits, and various others.
The main owner seems to be Kingsburg Orchards and they have names under several other brands. They also have fruits and several other products besides cereal. One of their main links is: http://www.kingsburgorchards.com
The question here is about dinosaur fruit and it is a product of Kingsburg Orchards. The actual fruits in reference are pluots- a mixed hybrid variety of plums and apricots which consist different colours and shades both outer and inner layers
I also was confused. But I came to know that it is a brand name for fruits and their products. Mainly it refers to the pluots, a hybrid variety of plums and apricots developed after a lengthy years of research and contribution by great botanists and scientists. The fruits have seed which is hard like stones.
Dinosaur fruit is actually a brand name in certain grocery stores, and not any one specific fruit.
