Do you like Tacos? Have you had tacos not made by fast food outlets?

Yelp announced the Top 100 Taco shops on Oct 3rd. National Taco Day was the 4th. Not to brag, but #1 was from the San Diego area where I live. From Fox5 is the following:

"Four restaurants in San Diego County were named to Yelp’s Top 100 Taco Spots in America list, including one local birrieria that took the top overall spot.

Ed Fernandez Restaurant Birrieria, located at 2265 Flower Avenue in San Diego’s Nestor neighborhood, was named the top taco spot in America, according to Yelp.
This is the best empanada spot in California, according to Yelp

The South Bay restaurant is known for its signature birria tacos, which they have been making since 2005.

“This is probably the best birria I’ve ever had! ” one Yelp user said.

I see that there's one in the Florida Keys. When in the keys, for me, it's  ALL about fresh seafood, but I will check it out the next time I am down that way.
This is fun and a nice diversion. :-)

I did a quick check and found that we do have a Taco Tuesday in my part of Canada, which surprised me. I’ve never heard of the event before. I’m going to take advantage of it in the near future.

Interesting and happy for you! Go for it. Tacos' are regular for me every week, yet usually on Sat. I live in San Diego, California area and I go to Jilbertos sometimes twice a week. Great Burritos that are big enough I can't finish one. Breakfast and Carne Asada are my favorites.
