What is your opinion about the words:
`We become what we think about`,
Said by one of the greatest thinkers, and inspirational men of our time - - Earl Nightingale.
Well taken literally the statement is incorrect. Although as one sentence is most likely taken from a longer statement, so that this one sentence is taken out of context.
- If we became what we think about when I was thinking about something I would become that thing. A hanbag or a pair of shoes or a cup of coffee.
However - taken as meaning if you try to look at life in a positive way; do you become a happier person? Then yes I believe you do. I do understand that this is not always possible.
Now I will think about something else, as time is what I am thinking about now.
Hope there are some interesting responses to this for you, jacobkuttyta.
i totally agree with the statement..deep within what ever we think we become..
hmm, sounds like a good friend of mine:

I hope not.... I would hate to be a young sexxy six foot busty blonde..
That's not what you're obsessing about. I don't get a tranny vibe from you.
I think whatever your messed up thoughts are, you create your life around. That's maybe a little different take on the same thing.
And so, if you're thoughts are rather good and productive, and you can avoid all the bad obsessions, then you create good and productive situations with like-minded people in them.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful and humorous posts.
Thanks all
Look forward to more comments on the subject

How long do you take to think about a subject you want to write about before you write the article.I take far too much time just thinking about a subject before I begin to write. I feel like I am crippling myself by not just jumping in and writing.

Have you ever wished you could hear what other people were thinking? There have been times when I wished I could know what another people were thinking. At times it could have saved me from making big mistakes. It would have come in handy early in life.

What is the best way to stop thinking?Basically, I'm having a hard time running right now because I can't convince my brain to turn off. This conflicts with when I want to run as running distracts from thought. I want to keep running, but it's hard to stop thinking. Anyone have any thoughts on...
