Google payment confirmed, have not received it

I have my Google account set up for EFT.  I followed their instructions and put the amount of their token deposit on the verification page.  It was accepted and confirmed, and I'm told payment date is 5/26/10.
It is now the 29th and there is still no deposit to my account.  This is what I see:

    Payment Type Check
    Payment Date May 26, 2010

Now, you see it says Check.  Does that simply mean they are depositing a check electronically to my account, or, are they sending a paper check?  If it means electronic, which it should because that's what I signed up for, wouldn't it have been deposited on the 26th as they claim?  In either case, the payment has not been received.

Am I being too impatient?  If I still haven't received payment by Tuesday 6/1, how do I get in touch with these people?  I find it so frustrating that Google makes one hunt and peck to find answers.  It would be so nice if they had an 800#.

These transfers have a way of being pretty slow the first time around. Either way, you are being a little too impatient.

LOL,,,yes WE, I tend to be that way.  My best friends tells me all the time about my 'instant gratification' bent smile

Well, I just wanted to throw this out here because this will be my first payment, and I can't help but being excited smile

I suppose if the confirmation had said payment processed, without a date given, it would ease my concern.  I just wasn't sure if anyone else experienced an issue with Google payments.  I did search the forums and didn't come up with anything concrete, so therefore, this post..

A little excitement never hurt anyone, just don't start filing any lawsuits quite yet.

I assume that this is for money accrued up until the 30th April?

If it says check, then it would be for a check. Otherwise it would say direct deposit.

So expect this check delivered around mid-June.

Yes, up till the end of April.  It was my understanding that if the payment ended say, this month, then the payment could be expected the following month?  So why did it say payment issued on 5/26, which, if I understood correctly, that's when I could expect it?  Not June.
And also, I signed up for direct deposit.  They deposited the token amount in my account, so why would they send a paper check?  especially since that's not how I want to be paid.

Darkside, It makes no sense.  How could Google deposit a token amount in my account if payment by check was selected by me?  If they can put the token amount in automatically, then the payment should have been put in the same way.  I'm thinking they goofed up.

I've contacted them and will see what happens.  So far, nothing has arrived by snail mail.

It is puzzling. But you would have received snail mail from Google in the past, when they send out a code to verify your account once you've made your first $10.

Don't bother contacting the Adsense Team yet. They do have a time frame somewhere on the site or in the help section that outlines when to contact them, and to do so now would be too soon.

Because here's what we do know, that you have it down as 'check'. Even though you've previously set it as direct deposit, that is what it says now.

So you can expect delivery around mid June of the check via mail. Maybe sooner if you're in the U.S.

Wait until then at least before you start chasing them up.

I just checked mine to see how it reports it.  Mine says payment type "EFT" and then shows the Bank name.  So, if yours says check there, you can look to get a check in the mail.  Not sure how that got changed on yours, but you'll probably want to change it back to EFT.  With EFT I get it the same day it says it was sent.

I think it is best you email the adsense team and find out whats going on.  If your account has been hooked up you should be rady to go, I would just scour the options and check everything is okay!

Maybe you should give it a few days. The fact you received a payment issue date doesn't mean it will be in your account immediately.

From Google page: "Payment issued: Within the next few weeks, a Payment issued line will be posted to your Payment History page, indicating your payment has been calculated. At this time, we'll have your payment processed and sent to you."

My payment was issued 25 May (EFT) and I'm not expecting it until next week. (EFT's can take 2 - 4 days to Transfer)

    Best Wishes.
