I am trying to write about what I know and this particular subject (rheumatoid arthritis) lends itself to writing across of series of hubs. Will this style work? Please have a look and let me know what you think.

You will do better if you include some photos, a picture is worth a thousand words and people find it easy to remember, people may get bored and stop reading otherwise.. you want people to stay interested and stay long in order to click your ads

    Aiden, I agree with Richie
You need to add some pictures, photographs some other links - otherwise the text is just too dense, and readers won't stay with you.  Look at the most successful hubbers and you will see this.

I read it and it was great. Didn't miss pictures at all! But some space between the paragraphs would make reading easier. So the pictures will help with that.

Very compelling text and stories don't need to be gussied up much at all! All the best to you and your wife - and your baby!

Added some picture just now, I see what you mean about paragraphs.
Will take a look at that next, thanks also for your kind words.

Your edited hub with pictures etc seems great, not really a topic I want to read about though! (Hope arthritis never hits me)

    Hey Aiden,

You might consider using more text capsules as well. As you use more text capsules you can use more photo capsules or a poll, or anything else you like, that would go along side.

Please review my hub- Educate: Stagnation versus Fluidity.

I only say that to give you an idea of what I mean. It helps when you make smaller sections to read and at times it even helps if you break what you write down into sections that can be titled. The titled words have some effect with SEO techniques, from what I have heard. I haven't implemented that on all my hubs, but just a few. Unable to tell you if it makes a difference.

I only suggest adding more capsules because it appears as though you have a lot to write, but elongated paragraphs could loose readers.

    Just a thought. smile
