It's the 4th of July and I thought it would be fun to post Nancy Pelosi's most recent gaffe  And I know there will be more! lol

Our dear Nancy thinks that keeping the jobless on unemployment benefits will increase jobs, she said to reporters. "It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name."

If this is how Obama and Nancy think the country is going to create jobs, we are in so much trouble.

I find it amazing that she ever got elected and I'll be even more amazed if she gets re-elected again!

She was elected by voters from San Francisco, this is leftist liberal central. I'm not surprised at all when they keep electing her.

This has become a classic.  Regarding the health care bill:

Congress "[has] to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it..."

This is an oldie but a goodie.

"I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels," House speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Meet the Press

Rolling your eyes is so classy.

I didn't realize it was a fossil fuel, you learn something new every day.

Actually, it is a by-product of fossil fuel, UW!  The gas forms from the crude oil naturally and does not pollute like the oil itself when burned.

You could add that she called a bunch of protesting senior citizens  a bunch of terrorists.

Thank you, I forgot that lol You gotta be wary of that violent geriatric mob on their speedy electric carts; they give those soccer hooligans a run for their money.

And don't forget, it was her idea to spend 30 million to save mice in California.  Never mind jobs for people......got to save those mice.

No doubt about it. Pelosi is a gold mine.  I still think about something she said months ago about the healthcare bill.  That people can become artists without fear because they have health insurance.  Well Europe has socialized medicine for a long time and I don't see a lot of brand new appealing artistic work coming out of Europe.

Pelosi, during a Thursday press briefing in June, said that passing the energy and climate change legislation was a moral issue and also said the issue was about “God’s beautiful creation” which we have a “moral responsibility” to preserve.

But it's not a moral issue and a moral responsibility to preserve God's beautiful creation in the womb?

    wink

Back in January 2009, Pelosi claimed that the stimulus bill had to be passed because "500 million Americans" were losing their jobs each month.  However the population of the US is only 300 milllion. DOH!

Maybe she was counting the populations of those 7 other states obama mentioned!

Nancy Pelosi told Catholic leaders they need to support the Democratic version of immigration reform, and to preach it from the pulpit. She would have said more but she had to leave to attend a rally for the separation of church and state. - Jay Leno

“The phenomenon or the situation that I see is that members who are from low-unemployment areas are very concerned about the deficit,” Pelosi said. “Members who are from high-unemployment areas are very concerned about the jobs.” - Nancy Pelosi, May 28, 2010

Yeah that is a very unusual phenomenon, Nancy.  You really shouldn't expect people who are unemployed to be concerned about their lack of jobs. roll

"I think there's no doubt there are enough seats in play that could cause Republicans to gain control. There’s no doubt about that. This will depend on strong campaigns by Democrats," Gibbs said on Sunday during Meet The Press.

"How could [Gibbs] know what is going on in our districts?" Pelosi told her members in the caucus meeting in the basement of the Capitol Tuesday night.

Nancy, they do have these things called polls...

You people are so lucky you live in California. This heat wave back east is just unbelievable. … It was so hot in Washington, Nancy Pelosi skipped the Botox, had her face injected with frozen yogurt. –Jay Leno

A man was washed up on a beach after a terrible shipwreck. Only a sheep and a sheepdog were washed up with him. After looking around, he realized that they were stranded on deserted island.

After being there awhile, he got into the habit of taking his two animal companions to the beach every evening to watch the sunset. One particular evening, the sky was a fiery red with beautiful cirrus clouds, the breeze was warm and gentle - a perfect night for romance.

As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the lonely man. Soon, he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it. But the sheepdog, ever protective of the sheep, growled fiercely until the man took his arm from around the sheep. After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together,
but there was no more cuddling.

A few weeks passed by and, lo and behold, there was another shipwreck.

The only survivor was Nancy Pelosi. That evening, the man brought Nancy to the evening beach ritual. It was another beautiful evening, red sky, cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle breeze, a perfect for a night of romance.

Pretty soon, the man started to get "those feelings" again. He fought the urges as long as he could but he finally gave in and leaned over to Nancy and told her he hadn't had sex for months. Nancy batted her eyelashes and asked if there was anything she could do for him.

He said, "Would you mind taking the dog for a walk?"

The old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years he had faithfully served the people of the nation’s capital. He motioned for his nurse to come near.

    “Yes, Father?” said the nurse.

“I would really like to see Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi before I die”, whispered the priest.

“I’ll see what I can do, Father” replied the nurse.

The nurse sent the request to them and waited for a response. Soon the word arrived. Harry and Nancy would be delighted to visit the priest. As they went to the hospital, Harry commented to Nancy “I don’t know why
the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly help our images.” Nancy couldn’t help but agree.

When they arrived at the priest’s room, the priest took Nancy ‘s hand in his right hand and Harry’s hand in his left. There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest’s face.

Finally Nancy spoke. “Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did you choose us to be with you as you near the end?”

The old priest slowly replied “I have always tried to pattern my life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” The old priest continued...

“He died between two lying thieves. I would like to do the same.”

After Congressman Charles Rangel was charged with ethics violations, Speaker of the House and Congressional Botox Fail, Nancy Pelosi, said her pledge to “drain the swamp” back in 2006 when the Democrats tooks over the House did not mean individual ethical lapses by Democrats would not occur while she was Speaker.

lol Now why am I not surprised?

I said I wouldn't do this , getting  political anymore, Pelosi is the tip of the iceburg, we have to stop electing multi millionaires to government positions , for they are not real people . Congess and senate should be elected like a jury system. Real Americans only, should serve. ok ok, Ill stop now.......sorry!

So because someone has the audacity to have worked hard, been successful, and make a lot of money....that somehow disqualifies them as "real people".

Nice to see the wealth envy card being played so well......
