Ok, so I posted all my articles on Redgage a few days ago and I've gotten a lot of views. But why does Hubpages not show that I'm getting traffic from Redgage?

I have summarised all (or at least most) of my Hubs on RedGage and I know they get traffic but I have never seen them feature in the HubPages stats .. ... ..

Have you used your trackers to measure the estimated traffic aswell?

Just an extra metric to use!

People might have checked out your redgage posting but may not have actually clicked the link that leads back to your hub.

i think there is something really strange about redgage.
have you noticed when you post you can have 16+ views in a matter of a minute. Sorry i just dont believe that there are all these people sitting there waiting to look at my  hubs or even heaven forbid my photos!

    Wait!  I don't understand!
Sun, word is you are a tech expert.  Educate me on what Redgage is and what it involves.
    Please?

Redgage is a backlink/bookmark site that allows you to submit yourlinks w/ a short description.

      http://hubpages.com/hub/Get-Website-Tra … -earn-from

You also get paid a few cents per 1000 page views - the real money comes from occasionally winning daily drawings - Ive won twice for a total of $50

As a direct traffic source - as in people clicking through to view your hub - its not really worth talking about.

I was just pointing out that you cant rely 100% on the HP tracking as it seems a bit buggy. Probably the OP is confusing "views" at redgage with actual clickthroughs to their article at HP

Not that this matter much, but from my experience, which isn't much, RedGage does have and bring views to HubPages, and HubPages does track RedGage.

I have seen my views on my hubs show up as traffic from RedGage. And, it is found under your stats for each hub.

Traffic coming from RedGage should be labeled RedGage as a source.

At least it does for my hubs. wink

Sunforged, on the hubs themselves, where it lists traffic sources.

My notice of errors in Hp traffic only relates to that screen.

The individual hub tracking seems accurate..but I have no way of making a systematic test through that view

yeah. My traffic sources was where Redgage should have been but wasn't. And I know at least some people clicked through to Hubpages because they left comments about my hubs. I haven't used a tracker though

they could have lied, 90% of external comments are just puff pieces for a link

      (percentages just made up)
