Now I know they have signed some quality players in yaya toure and david silva? But can Man City honestly mount a challenge for the title? Id like to know what you think? weather they can break into that top four this season or should they be aiming for the title?

No and I definitely don't want them too!  I support Man U but even so I  hate when clubs just buy loads of expensive players and hope they will win!  They have got no chemistry and a pretty poor manager!

100% agree! I hope they just fall apart as they are everything that I hate in football....

Right on!  Man City are just trying to be the English equivalent of Real Madrid.  The only difference between them is that Madrid have a history of winning, except lately.  Ronaldo who?

That's what all successfull clubs do. They try to buy the best players they can.

Ya i agree with both of ye, I dont like the way how these billionaires just come into clubs and just buy the best players Available! But unfortunately thats just where football is heading!

Man city have no chance of winning the title, you are right in what you say, the do have very good players, but the word there is PLAYERS, the dont have a good/great team. untill city can get the players to gel as a team, they won't win anything. city are just doing the same as chlesea did a few years back. Now one team that will win a title is sheffield wednesday, they should win league one this season.

The difference between Chelsea and City, is that Chelsea had a very good manager, and he had a concept in who to by for what position. As much as I see City is just buying the players, as you said, but with no second thought about how they would fit in the team and its strategy.

    extremely doubtful.

well no absolute zero is closer LOL

you have to break it down on a suspicious level unfortunately

man city are owned by arabs whereas arsenal spurs chelsea man u and liverpool are all jewish owned, why do you think arsenal and chelsea lost to spurs last year letting them get the last champions league spot.

What does Arab-Jewish ownerhip has to do with team performance? Are your racist?

From next season they will probably be title contenders, but only if the team gels. Too many egos may spoil the team ethic though

Very possibly. But for that to happen, Chelsea need to have serious injuries and somebody needs to sit on Carlos Tevez' mouth for the next 7 months.

As all of you have said, they need to develop as a team. They have plenty of good players, but they have to gather and play as a team, like chelsea now. I think chelsea is going to take the title once more to stamford bridge, they have some great players and have years of experience playing together. Man city can broke the big four, they can expect 4th or 3rd

Chelsea did spend big, before Mourinho entered the hot seat. I believe they could have won the title before though,if they had given Grant the same backing, that they extended to Jose Mourinho.
Although i could talk myself out of that argument if you look at what he has achieved at Portsmouth and West Ham.

Man City will not win the title this year but, should definately make the Champions League.

    Top 4? Yes

    Premiership title? No

Chelsea all the way. I'm a hammer so don't enjoy saying that. But they have the experience, strong squad, hunger, great manager and consistency.
