Finally! One article written 4 months back has hit the 1001 views mark. I know to some this is rubbish, as far as views are concerned, but I am excited. Yes, I would be more excited if it increased to 1,000 views per month.

    woo-hoo.

Brilliant news and congrats smile But in view of this thread - http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/49381 - it might be better if you don't tell others here how well your hubs are doing. Thieves might rip it off (thieves amongst us - ie people who can write).

The ones who can't write aren't the problem - believe me, its the ones who can who are causing problems.

The problems seem to be if someone posts that they have a few hubs doing well, or one in particular that is breaking records, even without naming the hubs, it is relatively easy to click on 'hot' or 'best' hubs in their category section to see the hubs that are being talked about.
Then someone can just take their keywords and write a new hub based on the same subject, that is not in any way a copy.
Unless the original writer backlinks the Hell out his hub (and who's to say the copycat doesn't do the same), both hubs are on an even field.
But the greatest loss is to the orginal hub writer, who spent the time doing the keyword research.
