So I've been reading alot of Hubbers experience with different sites and saw Redgage. When I googled it alot of things came up regarding it as a scam, ect...Anyone have a personal experieince to share?

I am on RedGage, and I wouldn't call it a scam, but then again, I have only about 40 postings there and have not tried to retrieve the money I have already earned.

I have let my earnings continue to accumulate. There are some people who have pulled earnings, and received credit/debit cards for their money, and also claims have been made that fees are charged for using it.

So, I do not consider it a scam, do like it. Also, I have not really posted anything for a couple of months now either. smile

      Cag,
I find it annoying. This and 6 other social sites.
to remember names and passwords and do them all seems such a trial.

The ONLY thing I have against RedGage at the moment is that they seem to have a lot of glitches.
Customer support has always been flawlessly helpful and courteous to me.
I haven't hit a pay out yet so I dont know about that.

You can do it two ways . You can just do it with a 'link' or you can write a simple little 'blog' on the same subject as your Hub and put a backlink in to your Hub cool

I agree with Sabre that RedGage does not always load smoothly, but I don't have any real problems with it.  I like it because I can load my artwork to the site, and I tend to connect with the folks there that display art or photography.  I've been featured a few times and got one of their debit cards, but haven't tried to use it yet.

    I'm okay with RedGage.

I had a bit of trouble with loading pics there the same as here at hubpages.

but after everyone told me to goto firefox had no more trouble with images loading.
Spent my $25 visa card no problems at all once I had it verified.  Nice and friendly and helpful over there too.

Have occasional problems with site but they are updating it. And they apologised for that.

Must agree with every one else! I have been there over 12 months and getting close to pay out figure. One good thing there is that you can see what everyone else is earning and what for!
They also pay 'bonuses' out for content and have a raffle everyday.
You earn money on the amount of unique page views that you get for your content. I like it and the community is friendly as well.

I don't think Redgage is a scam. I've earned a few dollars from it so far, slowly...but still smile But I agree it does have some glitches. Also, I haven't been able to upload documents at all. I don't know if its just me or Redgage??

I have been using RedGage for a couple of months.   Have earned a couple of bucks.   Good for backlinks, they also have some auto download possiblities for facebook, twitter, etc.  Haven't used that yet though.

I find the site is very slow to respond, and a little strange to navigate.  You get a lot of server busy error messages.

They are working on the problems though.

I like Redgage - I have won the competition and they are very helpful on the help side of things.  I think they have friend feed there... I have joined and it does help.

Is there a benefit to posting just the link or the "blog"?

I post a backlink to my hub, and list it as a blog.  So I do the blog route.  It has increased the traffic to my hubs and to my personal blogging site two folds.  I love it!

Is it true that the RegGage giftcard has a monthly fee after the first 6 months?  And you are charged $5 for the card?

      ???

      I don't think so.  I haven't had that experience.

No it isnt true.  It is a visa gratuity card that gets topped up.  It is a pay as you go system where they pay you and you go and spend it!  hehehe

I am not certain but I think the first time they issue the card there is an admin.charge ($5?) deducted from your earnings and after that it is all free. I think recall reading that when I first joined RedGage.

I really like the site and will use it more often when the 'glitches' happen less (they are partly caused I think by its sudden rise in popularity).

I have made just under a dollar on links to my hubs, but the way to make money faster is with the contest or to get a feature on there.
