Its only a few short weeks away. Are you done?  Or has the economic situation forced you to "rationalize" this year?

I haven't even started yet! This season, I'm taking a long time to get into the "holiday spirit". Not sure why this is, but it's not good because time goes very quickly and this month could be gone before I know it. But since our economy does stink like a baby's diaper, I do have to cut down on my spoiling this year.sad

It's OK to leave me off your list just this once.
Just don't let it happen again. smile

I have two more gifts to buy. I started early this year. I don't buy too any gifts so it's not usually that difficult.

I am procrastinating as a form of passive resistance to this whole thing: buying hard-to-afford gifts for people who don't need them and maybe don't even want them (OMG, how grinch is that?). I will probably cave right before christmas and pay through the nose for shipping.

I have done 80% of my christmas shop, however I am holding out for last minute bargains.

How about shopping "after" Christmas, for next year? Get in early, real bargains can be had!

I am not the sort of person who wait for Christmas,Newyear or Birthday to do shopping, nor do i wait for any occasion to give gifts. Out of 365 days i would be shopping 300 days. But yes... i pampered myself today by doing some heavy shopping.

      LOL

Reminds me of the old Andy Capp joke -

Andy always had two fears -

      1. He would run out of money before the pub closed, or
      2. The pub would close before he ran out of money lol

No - I had a great time actually. Spent Christmas day with my wife - the first time we have spent the day on our own since we met. Helps being thousands of miles away from the rest of the families smile

Then a great new years eve party. Just recovered and back to work.

        How was your holiday?
