We have a summer house in our garden, and it’s my favourite place to go and write. Yes I'm a man in a shed! I was just wondering if anyone else has an unusual place where they like to work. Do some people sit on a boat, under a tree or in the pub. Where do you find inspiration?

I would have thought your favourite place was your hutch big_smile.

With the number of views I get I think I should use the s***house

    Anywhere.

I mostly use my iPad to prepare the text.  Unfortunately, I can't actually edit capsules with that, so I have to return to my desk to actually create it.

Unless I take up writing at three o'clock in the morning, I wouldn't be able to get into the bathroom for long enough, my daughter has taken it over and she's not even a teenager yet LOL.

For me inspiration  just pops in. like a knock on the door when your tired or busy. sometimes its like a unwelcome guest .but i still let it in. i scribble on bits of paper with crayon or just etch it into a piece of cardboard with a spent fountain pen . what ever it takes to free the thought from my mind.

that's not just a answer to a forum question either.
    its poetry

In bed. I just post up with my macbook and keep writing until I'm bored.

Except I usually find myself spending way much more time reading then writing.. need to work on that
