Anyone ever spent time on a tweak week and seen positive results? Having looked over my hubs, I have many that languish yet could be doing much better in their niche.
I have noticed a definite upswing since I took advantage of the Title Turner so I'm figuring a good old house cleaning week may also improve my stats overall.
That's the hope anyway
I've been playing with some of my titles, photo captions and sub headings for the last week or so. Some of my less traveled hubs have gone from 10 views a day to 50 or more. It's not huge traffic, but it's a dramatic upswing to be sure.
I too recently took on some advice from one of Wrylilts hubs and I tweaked 90% of my hubs and I got to say its pushed my traffic hub a good bit. Still room for improvement though.
“Tweak” is my middle name... So far, I haven’t made anything worse yet...
Thank you guys
Funny but looking back at my earlier 'point and shoot' hubs, the ones I wrote before I bothered thinking first, many have great keywords by accident.
Already found one that I can make into two. As for tags ... most are woefully underserved No writing hubs, I need to revamp existing ones.
I tweaked a couple of titles an hour ago that had no hits in 30 days and both have had 2 hits each since.
Of course, that may be my own views
Alright then, but my tweak week will be most certainly like a twee little squeak of a mouse. My hubs are already perfect the way they are.
Im just so happy I found the spell checker and my words are right now. (I think...) My stuff isnt commercial, the title tuner does nothing for me. Im sure its worth the effort to tweak tho.
I did this a few weeks ago and added ebay modules to the top of my hubs. I'm having the best ebay month since I've been here.
I've been tweaking my hubs since Title Tuner came on board and it really seems to be working for me. Don't have time to write at the moment so tweaking helps right now.
Been tweaking since the title tuner evolved. I've seen fairly good results too.
I'm happily experimenting with 'tweaks' for now.
I tweak often Improving existing hubs is something I've put some time into every since I started here. Sometimes just optimising a page a little better can make a huge difference to its SE traffic. Well worth the effort in my opinion!
That's good to know
I've found the Title Tuner a good little tweaker in itself. I know you have to use your own discretion but I've seen upwards of a 20% increase in traffic. And my earlier hubs, most of which I just wrote without any research, are short on tags and IMO some onpage SEO. I may as well use the content and age factor and see what happens

I'm not asking about why hubs get featured or un-featured. I kind of know that. The issue is: I just did a category search in my hubs, and found that, out of 292 published hubs, 149 are unfeatured due to low traffic! That's a lot! Over half my articles! I don't have the time...

I have been struggling with Google traffic and finally out of frustration, I unpublished close to 30 hubs that simply weren't getting traffic. If I leave these unpublished for more than 30 days, will they look new to Google? Would a video help these stagnant hubs?I have lessened the Amazon capsules,...

I never thought I would ask that but having just looked at the large number of hubs now classified as Idle in my account why should I write any more, and what am I do with all of those already here? A lot of them are good quality writings I know because they had previously been published in hard...

An ongoing topic I've seen over the years I've been on Hubpages is "How do I make my low traffic hubs better."I saw it again today in a Hub Pro thread (if you haven't already, should definitely opt in - it was a fantastic experience.)My best advice to anyone who is writing online is:If it...

I am finding myself entirely busy. Even though I am not in school for the summer, neither are the kids! I have realized I need some type of priority system when it comes to by hubs, but I am not sure in what order to do things. Should I concentrate on making new hubs, and save tweaking for later?...
