Alright, the Rangers are up 3 games to 1. Who thinks the Yankees will come back to win this series?

The Yankees year in and year out are so resilient and never go down easily. I think they will make a run for it, although facing Cliff Lee in a potential game 7 does not bode well for them. Lee has already established himself as one of the most dominant postseason pitchers of all-time. It will be interesting.

    According to Baseball-Reference.com :
    the New York Yankees (8818-6449 W-L, 1913 - 2010)
Have won 27 World Championships, 40 Pennants, and 49 Playoff Appearances.

They have done it before they will do it again. . .

The real question is  .. what about them *Jets * Jets * Jets*

    But in the meantime. ..

    Lets go

Go Rangers!!!!. Let them have it now....let them make history! They have never played in the World Series.. Giants and Rangers will be in for the World Series!

NYY is always there, hard to knock and had proven themselves beyond -- so Yankees give others a chance LOL...

Rangers vs. Giants would certainly be a shocker. If I told someone a week ago that the Rangers and Giants were just a game away from the World Series I don't think many would have believed me. The Giants are up against 3 of the best starters ever to play on the same team. The Rangers are playing in a playoff series with the biggest differential in payroll in baseball history (Yankees are over $200 million, Rangers are around $55 million).

Rangers YOOHOO! Anything can happen in baseball!

They are just waiting for the Giants or Philly now...

        Go Rangers!!

It's an uphill climb, for sure.
But when we're talking Yankees, never say never.

The Giants, on the other hand, had it in their hand and pissed it away last night. I don't hold out a lot of hope for them, frankly. Especially after going back to Philly.

I just saw this forum just now. And obviously we know the outcome. I have two favorite teams, the Angels and anybody that is playing the Yankees. I am quite content right now.

Congratulations to the Texas Rangers. They played their hearts out. And obviously wanted it more.

Just sitting and waiting for the Giants/Phillies showdown.
    2 more hours.
Another underdog upset would be soooo cool!

Hey, "my" Sox broke the spell in 2004. Who's to say my Hubby's team can't live the miracle in 2010?
