Grouping your Hubs helps!

   We all categorize our hubs when starting out but how many of us group them as well? Well if you haven't grouped them start right away as the Hubs you put in the same group are displayed at the bottom of your Hub from that group, right above the comment section. This is helpful in two ways. First, if you forget to inter link two or more related Hubs they will still be linked if you group them together and will be displayed in Hubs from that group. Secondly, I find this way of displaying related Hubs more attractive than displaying them in the Links capsule. I feel readers are more likely to click on them as they seem like recommendations from HubPages itself rather than you promoting your hub. What do you say?

   Ive been grouping my hubs for some time now.  I like the links HP provides at the end of the hub to others in the same group.
   
   In addition, I use tags to provide RSS feeds to my other hubs on the same general topic.

            I have not implemented rss feeds for tags either but I am a firm believer in interlinking. Most of my hubs are inter-related, so this issue is important for me. I also own a series of websites and web 2.0 projects and stats for all those have proven that interlinking is well worth the effort.

   Thank you Thriller. I have just gone through all my Hubs and grouped them. What a great way to get traffic to your other Hubs without people having to go back and forth through profiles and search engines! Brilliant!

   I agree, Thriller. Just last night, I managed to make all my hubs to fit into some group (I only have 15). I made fairly general names, and plan on making them more specific, possibly, as time goes on, and I  have more ideas. I love the grouping feature! I think it really encourages people to read more. I know I would, if I was a reader!

   I group my Hubs! I made an even smaller group of two Hubs because it's a two-part debate on whether a pipe or electric/digital organ is suitable for church or not. Even two-part Hubs get their own groups!

   I am not sure if this will work for everyone - but moving the position of a hub within its group sometimes seems to get it more traffic. I believe  the order they are in affects what hubs they appear on (at the bottom of the page with the arrows).
   
   It is still worth adding links with the links capsule too.

   Sorry to ask the obvious.... but how do you group hubs? Also, when a hubber has "more hubs by so-and-so" at the end of a hub, is that something that is automatically generated, or is it simply another text capsule that the author has written? Thanks for helping me as I am not too tech-savvy, as you can tell!

      OK, I stopped being lazy and figured it out for myself like I should have in the first place. Thank you, Thriller, for this tip. I was unaware that grouping was even a possibility! Now my hubs are grouped and I will continue to group all my new ones! Thanks again!

    Good advice, Thriller. Most of my hubs are linked together (especially a six-part series I'm in the middle of publishing title "Most Memorable Villains Series", perhaps you should check it out!), some of my hubs are also linked to similiar hubs published by other hubbers that supports the point of view that I'm personifying in my hub. It's a certain level of technique I use when I'm doing this.
