I got an email via hubpages a couple of minutes ago that someone was trying to post a comment to my latest hub, "Our Mothers' Backs", but the hub wouldn't accept the comment. How do we find out if the problem is at their end or on Hubpages?
BTW, on that hub, the slideshow starts with the third picture. Is there are reason for that?
You have control over whether Hubs will automatically accept a comment, or if they need approval first. Edit that comment capsule if it's not set how you wish.
If that's not the problem, you'll need to describe the situation in more detail.
Maddie Ruud once wrote, “Try closing your browser, opening a new one, and holding shift while hitting refresh to clear your browser of any old Java it might have cached. See if that doesn't fix the comment/vid problem.”
I am using an I.E. browser and I am unable to post a comment to Aya Katz's hub, Our Mothers’ Backs
My comments capsule is set to accept all comments. Other people have posted since Ngureco tried. It doesn't wait for my approval to post the comment.

Every time I try to post a comment, the page flips up to the top and, when I scroll back down, the comment is still there, unposted. I've cleaned my cache, tried a different browser but no luck.

Boy, it took me several hours to write one hub today. The edit and save-edit functions have been a pain in my rump all day. I can't figure out any particular pattern, just that a lot of times when I go to save an edit, the save doesn't work and my hub goes pale - cannot click...

Wow! What do you do when someone writes a hub attacking you personally because you deleted a comment they posted to your hub?
