I like the idea where the animals ate the floor, they were not allowed to eat each other.

Do you mean what the animals ate before the flood? If that's the question, the animals ate a variety of heart healthy ingredients that promoted a shiny coat and healthy oral hygene. They had regular checkups by a licened vet and recieved required vaccinations. If you think this sounds totally rediculous, so does a world wide flood.

Yeah. So who are the Easter Island Statues looking for. Elvis? Three hundred feet below the surface of the ocean , whole villages have been found. This is a common thing around the globe. 300 ft worldwide is a fairly respectable flood, considering that the water hasn't fully receded back to that level yet. Come out to BC, WASH State.

I thought this thread was going to die.

Anything can happen in BibleLand, so I'm still sticking to the idea of eating the wooden floor of the Ark. How else were they going to feed a million species, that's why 95% of other species were left to drown, couldn’t feed them all? T Rex and his friends evolve to loving the taste of mahogany.

That's how I would tell it, if I were a die hard Christian

This is for Sword of Fire; What's in British Columbia and Washington State that I need to take notice in? I live between Sequim and Port Angeles, WA and been to Victoria, BC countless times. You're not talking about the Straight of Juan De Fuca are you?

The ark was actually an alien spacecraft that carried the DNA of species.

I'm so burned out about space aliens mingling in the ancient world. My eyes get sore from rolling them.

Do you totally dismiss the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe?

And BTW, my initial response was somewhat tongue-in-cheek.

I think seeing an alien has greater possibilities than seeing a real super natural God.

That flows for me because I think everyone is god.

Do you think that each human is an individual god or goddess, or do you mean that mankind is collectively "god"?

Collectively as we all are connected to the Universe. The iron in our blood is  the same iron found everywhere in outer space.

God is not of this earth (existed before earth), nor has He applied to the UN for citizenship.  Therefore, He is an alien by definition and probably an illegal one to boot!

By definition of alien ...  He certainly falls under that heading.

This response is for habee: No, I do not dismiss the existence of alien life forms elsewhere. Lately I keep running into stories about UFO sightings, how aliens help build the pyramids in Egypt, etc, that it gets  old. I live in the NW, do you know how many times I hear about sightings of bigfoot?

I have often wondered about the creative power of the mind.

The creative power of suggestion that we all have.
Multiply this by 6 billion and how powerful would it be.

If we all came together for one purpose there would be nothing impossible.

Anything multiplied by 6 billion will be tremendous. But, as humans we all don't come together for the purpose of anything. There's always someone who disagrees or tries to fight the system of things.

I had to leave for a little bit.  I had to fix a broken gate post.

yep.   seems that we can't agree on what the common good would be.

Looks like we highjacked the haj

No body goes for my eating the wooden floor theory. After having a million species where are you going to store all that food and poop?

There was plenty of wood to eat on the Ark..

Mmmm...haj has been gone for almost 2 days. He will be real surprise with a lot of our out of box and book theories we gave up about the Ark.
