I sold 15 items yesterday.  So close to hitting that next pay level too.  This has been a record month for me in terms of number of items sold, dollar amt and ctr.  I'm pleased.

So here I am waiting again...lol smile Still have about 4 grands worth of items to ship - I'm hoping at least some of them did ship yesterday so I can get to the magic $1000 for November. I'm just under $40 away....

@Spacey - keep your ears peeled for a faint screech coming from the west smile

Will I hear it too in Somerset Susana? lol

Most likely the snow will absorb the sound so by the time the sonic boom gets to Somerset it will just be a gentle squeak smile

Still no snow in my bit of Herts, so I will hear it loud and clear!

Susana - how many items is $4k and how did you work it out. I have nearly 300 items now left to ship and couldn't figure out how to see what they are apart from comparing the orders and earnings report line by line - which would take forever.

I know there's a couple of TVs in there which is nice.

I'm quite happy for them to roll over as I am not going to hit the next commission level today, and they will help bump up the rate nicely for Dec.

Wow that's a lot of orders waiting to ship. Will give you a nice start for this month. I wonder if we will have to wait all day again for the update? hmm

@Shaz - Yes probably, but it shouldn't hurt your ears to badly big_smile CMHypno and Spacey may need ear plugs smile

@Spacey - it's not that many items (about 30 from looking at the number of products ordered versus products shipped), but I know there is a $3000 TV in there, a $400 A/V receiver, a kindle, quite a few other $100 ish products, plus some bits and bobs of course. I just do a rough gauge of what I know has still to ship out.

I'm hoping that one month soon I will get to 7.5%, maybe december will be the one!

No, many of us are obsessed at the moment smile Welcome to the club, lol big_smile

We will need someone to develop a 12 step program for this, but not until January!

Well at least we know now that if he suddenly publishes a hub in perfect English, it HAS to be either copied or paid for!

Well it's updated now. Ouch, only one sale yesterday. But, I made $164.00 for last month, so that's not bad for only the second month of pushing them.

Time for me to make more product pages in my own websites and maybe more hubs. smile

I'm fairly disappointed with my Amazon sales this month. I missed 7% by two lousy shipments, although I have tons of sold items that will ship next month to give me a good head start for the month.

I just looked back in my reports from last year though, and in December 2009, I sold four times what I sold in November, so there's still hope. smile

If I made four times Nov earnings in Dec I'd have to throw and enormous 'in your face party' for everyone who thought I was mad when I gave up my career to be a stay at home mum.

I will try very very hard now to forget what you just said Irohner as otherwise I may drive myself insane.

If I make 4 times as much I will be going on holiday - on my own, lol lol

That TV did ship smile So I crossed the $1000 line for amazon + adsense for Nov. In fact I hit $1100 on the nose big_smile

Four times?!?  That is phenomenal and bodes well fir me too. I did not get to 7% but I will not argue as it was a record month nonetheless.

That sounds so hopeful lrohner! October was my best month ever, and in November my sales earnings rose by over 200%. I thought December would only be worse, not better. Fingers crossed....for all of us smile

My Amazon was up by about 200%, as well...stunned, and my teens are shaking their heads as I show them the reports...although this month's payout for Amazon won't be in the current year, my earnings for the year are just shy of $1000 on Amazon...and to think I used to waste my time playing Farmville and Farkle on Facebook!  LOL!

  14. LondonGirl profile image82

I don't really have Amazon-targeted hubs, but I do put Amazon capsules on most of mine, mostly books.

I had a real jump in sales in November, and particularly in the last week or so. 21 items from 25th Nov to today. And a lot of them had absolutely nothing to do with any hub I've written, such as a kindle, a food processor, and 5 fans (?!)

  15. Anesidora profile image60
    Anesidoraposted 13 years ago

Londongirl that's one of the beauties of amazon hubs.

Irohner - 4 times as much! Wow. So basically the Nov/Dec season can account for as much as 33-50% of an amazon affiliate's annual income.

    Wow.

I've always had some random sales, you are right. About half my sales are books, but there's always been the odd computer game / 10 reams of paper / kindle sale, too.

Susana, congratulations from me too! That is fantastic and sooo inspirational! Oh and I am very sorry for spelling your name wrongly in an earlier post.

    Congrats Susana!

I know there's a thread out there talking about the weird things people seem to buy through Amazon that have nothing to do with any article you've written....but I'm going to post this here since we're somewhat talking about that here too.

I just checked my end of month sales and someone is planning an exciting Christmas holiday.  They bought a 100 pack of condoms and a sex swing.  LOL   I can assure you I don't have anything remotely related to these items.   LOL

LOL! I just sold one of those swings on Monday! They must be having a sale or something!

I just had to check - they have a leather sex swing reduced from $398 to $199 - what a bargain - I just couldn't stop laughing long enough to write a hub on it.

    2. LondonGirl profile image82
LondonGirlposted 13 years agoin reply to this

100 pack?! I've only ever seen 12 packs here. Hope your buyer checks the expiry date (-:

So a tasty $4400 for Susana in December then big_smile

I sold $1000+ worth of hunting gear so I am feeling a bit morally bankrupt but financially cheerful.

  19. KCC Big Country profile image84
KCC Big Countryposted 13 years ago

You'd have to be rather creative to write a hub about sex swings without it tripping the "adult content" filters.  They're on sale for a reason.
