I would be interested to read peoples' views on what makes a relationship a happy one. Is there a success formula that can be followed. I would love to know.
A happy relationship is=no complaints on each other
There is a formula!
Compromise + Patience + Perseverance = Happy Relationship
Easier said than done, I know.
However, a relationship can never be a happy one if it came about for the wrong reasons e.g. feelings of loneliness, to gain inheritance, peer pressure or sex.
I like Homegirl's 'happy disposition and similar values'. I think this hits it on the nail. people with happy dispositions tend to overlook insignificant matters and focus on the things that help to bring out the best possible outcome in both situations and each other.
similar values would make this much easier to accomplish.
Listen, Understand, Compromise and at all times Communicate. When communication is lost, so is the relationship and don't forget date nights! They don't just have to be at the beginning of a relationship, infact, the more often the better. Have you ever tried using a pheromone perfume or cologne to spice up a relationship? You can read the reviews at alphadreampheromonereview.com
I don't follow my own advice but
A happy relationship is
two people willing to commit, and to sacrifice
and to be willing to work things out
compatibility
not having huge problems like addiction or alcohol ,drugs
a good match--like one easygoing and the other a leader
oppostites attract
sometimes if the person is just like you-- you over indulge in too much-------like if they analyze everything too much and so do you...well you're both gonna be...a mess.
I hope this helps
though like I said
I don't follow my own advice
not yet anyways
I think I have a fear of being alone
because of my tight knit family of 12
(a) Learn to accept and be happy with self before relationship.
(b) Learn to accept others for who they are.
(c) Learn to trust through interaction.
(d) Learn to constantly keep open communication lines with other.
(e) Learn to be upfront and honest at all times.
This is a constant effort that is needed by both parties involved.
A happy relationship would always include love, loyalty and respect...that's my opinion.
Everything follows when you have this three.
humor, mutual trust, respect and communication are some things that I believe make a happy relationship...
I believe in being honest and trust is a big issue with me. So few partners are loyal, with the exception of my current partner. Been with her a year. Best year of my whole life so far. Love is the beginning and foundation block for a happy relationship. So many things can be built on it.
And yes, good communication is important too. Not having too many high expectations to start off. Let things grow between you organically and naturally. There's lots I could mention here, but that is some of them.
Yes Singlesstreetlife When both of you are on the same vibe!
How you perceive your partner is how they perceive you.
No mistrust, no blame, no ego getting in your way.
Don't look for bad points in them only the good loving traits that had first drawn you together, in this way physically they will pick up on your sincerity towards them.
If there are any doubts you must bring them up, if they can't then be sorted out correctly then, they might not be the right one!
Love your partner with your mind first & your body will surely follow through!

Do you know of any truly happy relationships?I mean relationships that aren't family related like:(mother/daughter, father/son etc...) but rather boyfriend/girlfriend or boyfriend/boyfriend or girlfriend /girlfriend. Are there any monogamous, happy, loving, joyfilled relationships?
