    Hello there!

I hope you'll take time to consider my question!
My question is:"I joined  Hub Pages two days ago,and I still haven't published any articles,
but I am already at status Average and score is 34"!?
Don't get me wrong...!I am happy about it but.isn't it bit to early for that high status and score.
What I would like to know are the standards of evaluation and rating.

    Thank you for your time!

There are no standards of rating. There's a clever piece of programming that works out the score of your hubs and your overall hub score. Some say it's done by the quality of your hubs, the amount of traffic and of course your participation in the community (comments and forum posts).

Others think it has something to do with Voodoo magic!

Best thing to do, is write some quality content. Make some friends, enjoy your time, and your score will go up.

      Oh, and welcome.

      Andre

Your score is based on some type of algorithm which will never know exactly what that is. The above info by WhoArtNow is probably about as close to knowing what it is based on.
And the voodoo magic- a possible theory too.

That is because HP has some RUBBISH Formula to calculate Scores, mainly Author Scores. A Score of 34 or 100 doesn't means that one is going to earn $34 or $100 per day. Forget the score and start publishing something if you want to get popular and earn some $.

As Andre said, we can guess the factors behind it but basically to us, its vodoo magic smile
From one new hubber to another, don't worry too much about the hubscore smile, it will level out when you are a bit older (in here) based on your participation

Have you made any comments on other hubs? Participated in the forums? There are many factors that make up the hubrank.
