   "IF" I were to open a 2nd account in order to split my poetry from my other writing, would it be possible to move hubs from the current account to the new one?

      Hey DzyMsLizzy, i understand that there is an option to group the hubs. Then why to go for a different account.

         I have groups---a lot of them.  As far as I have been able to determine, however, those groups seem to be for  the writer's convenience, and are not visible to visitors???

            Actually yes, they are...underneath the hub where people vote up, down, comment, etc. You'll see the text in blue with an arrow pointing to the next hub in the group...and a backward arrow pointing to the previous one.

            true, but you can use a customized rss feed to show your poems in rss feed. do you know the process?

               Yup, I use RSS feeds, too (although I don't do poetry...LOL). A lot of times, I use the groups to characterize hubs more specifically than the HP software does.

            Rather than go to the effort of unpublishing your hubs and republishing under a new name, why not do as others suggest and group the hubs. Then write a capstone hub, one that is properly SEO'd for web searchers, and put your whole group of hubs inside it as part of the hub.
            For example "poetry online" gets 900 searches p.d, "poems for children", 6000 searches per day,"friendship poems", 10,000 p.d., "short poems" 15,000 p.d."inspirational poems" 3,000 p.d. There are many many more searches for specific poetry online.
            
            It's not that poetry doesn't pay, it is that no-one can find it! You, (and anyone else who writes poetry), need to make it findable because plenty people are looking for it.
            
            You can have several capstone hubs to group different poems.

               It seems the same goes for short stories. Having just read your message here, I took a look on the Google Keyword Tool, only to discover that 'Short Stories Online' has 49,500 searches per month, with very little competition. Thanks for giving me a great idea for my next Hub, Izzy.

                  Yes I should have mentioned this goes for short stories too! It is the only way short story writers and poets can get their work found.
                  I write neither but if I did I'd be away searching for the best keywords to use in capstone hubs.
                  
                  Wait a mo'- till I see what other phrases are used for short stories in case they can help anyone here -short stories for kids online, high school short stories, halloween short stories, short stories for teenagers, very short stories, inspirational short stories etc are all searched for, and more.

      some points and thoughts:
      ~you can't.
      ~if you want; delete and republish in the new account.
      ~even after deleting the hubs will be indexed in SE for a long time [few weeks to months] though that's not a big problem as poems are not written for money.
      ~having a separate poet profile is not a bad idea. again, poems attract quality readers who may be interested in reading your informative or sales hubs as well. so, your wish.
      ~ you can post each and every link of your poems in your profile so that people understand who you are.

   I got an email requesting I add my input to this thread, so here goes:
   
   I have six accounts (I think?) I use multiple accounts because I write in a large range of areas. Also, this is my main account which I know a lot of hubbers view - my other accounts are secret and have few or no followers. That way I know that I'm just getting google traffic for the most part. There's also the fact that I'd prefer not to have unscrupulous people scrape or copy my content on hubs that make me money, if possible.
   
   You cannot move hubs between accounts. The only way to do so is by deleting your current hub and copying and pasting the information into a new hub on the new account. However by doing that, you'll lose all the ageing and if you have a different URL, all the backlinks you have accrued.
   
   Remember that on a second account you can use the same Amazon and Adsense accounts, just link them in the same way. Good luck!
