How to Make My Four Cents Grow...?

   So I have the Google Adsense and have published 6 hubs so far. Over the span of the seven weeks I've made, and try not to be jealous, four cents. I was just wondering if there are other ways to make that grow? I've heard stuff about backlinking and Clickbank and ebay, but I'm a little hazy on the details, so any help would be awesometastic, thanks.

      I like your hubs, but if you want real tips on making money, you've got to pick more commercial topics and learn about keyword research. The ones who are making tons of money this season are the ones selling Christmas ornaments and gift items (everything from the Kindle to books to laptops). The type of hub you have up typically do not generate a lot of revenue. If you want to write as a hobby, then you can write whatever you want. If you want to make money, you have to write about what people want to buy, or at least what people are interested in so they will click on your ads.

      awesometastic is a great word, you are a real Poet!
      
      Anyway, looking at your hub, there are lots of texts and very thoughtful stuff, anyone reading it want a hug or a tissue, not to buy something. You close off all the poems and leave nothing that makes people want to go looking at anything else.
      When people want more, they click on ads, click through to links you ask them to, etc.
      
      First things first, it is up to you to decide if you want to make money or not as your hubs seem like you want a platform to get out your deep thoughts (and boy, they are deep!).
      
      If you do want to make money, then your hubs can be revised to include keywords that lead people to your hubs.
      My tips:
      1) Start advertising your writings to other sites so people can follow your links into hubpages
      2) Talk about other commom search items and more famous poets or quotes, to get people to your hubs
      3) After you have them, you can tell them about your work (your current hubs seem to be discussing topics that  are personally motivated but we don't know enough about you, or maybe I'm dumb and don't get it but I am your potential clicker .Hubbers will read it because the writing is good but a non-hubber may think, 'huh??' as opposed to if you did a review about say Keat's work you like, then lead them to your other hubs).
      4) Check out clickbank or other affiliate sites to see who has something that fits with your writings that you can promote, like amazon kindle ebook poems or something.
      5) When you have your plans ready, you can start adding keywords

   Write titles aimed specifically at your search audience. Think about exactly what they're typing into search engines and make your hub titles match. Learn about keyword research.
   
   Write hubs. Write more hubs. Write lots more hubs. Once you have about 30 you'll start to see a pattern, what works, and you'll get faster.
