What am I?

   I can't call myself a Christian because I don't believe the Bible like most people do and I don't believe God is an invisible magic super being with a white beard up in the sky, more like the Spirit itself for whatever it actually is, I dunno;  but I do believe in the message of Jesus and I do believe that there will be another life.
   
   I can't call myself Islamic or Muslim because I believe that Jesus was more than just a prophet and I do believe Jesus was the son of God.  Not because it makes Him better than everyone else but because I believe we are all children of God.  I don't have anything against Mohammad because I, in a lot of ways understand what he was saying and just because a book is filled with war and unjust things... like the Bible.... doesn't mean those are the things that I want to focus on. Rather, I can see what is good and go with it instead of fighting what is already bad.
   
   I cannot call myself an agnostic because I already got proof that God exist and so that would make me pretty certain.
   
   I cannot call myself Jewish because while spiritually I feel this way, it's not acceptable to the Jewish community, the Muslim community or the Christian community.
   
   I cannot say I am a Buddhist because well, while I understand the eightfold path I still believe in God which I think in the Buddhist philosophies they call this Sutra.
   
   I haven't the slightest idea what Sufi is, sorry Sufi, I think you are awesome but I don't what it is.
   
   I cannot say that I am Hindu but I understand for the most part, karma.
   
   I cannot say that I am a rationalist because in my mind I think it is completely rational to believe in God.
   
   I cannot say I am atheist, while much of the dogma that has come from theism I also don't like, I still believe in God.
   
   Can't say I am gnostic because I think pretending to make magic and actual magic are two different things and don't believe that it is really necessary to use "things" to contact God.  It's fun and entertaining but not much more than that to me.
   
   And even though I still have never said what my belief is other than believing in God, finding the message of Jesus sound and peaceful and that buried under all the rubble from people fighting I also think that Islam is beautiful.  Forget all the stuff about them degrading women and because I know that people do that without religions as well so these bad things that seem to come from religions... the more I learn and try to understand... don't seem to be coming from religion at all. 
   
   So why can't I have my own religion which accepts all the good parts of all the religions and none of the bad parts?   
   
   
   What is wrong with that?

      Nothing, it's called being Sandra Rinck.  That's what you are.
      
      Sandra Rinck, the category I see you fitting in with, is virtue and integrity.  Granted they might not be a religion,[ not sure why anyone has to be party to such], but they are the fundamental foundations of many religions started by man.

      I think it was swami Vivekananda who said something to the extent "Its fine to be born with a religion but not to die with one"

   That's easy- you're probably a Christian-Unitarian Univeralist, which means you're a UU (Unitarian Univeralist) with a Christian flavor.
