   I have 2.53 pages/visit in my adsense account. I want to understand these terms to follow along my performance. Kindly help. Thanks.

      I believe that it means that your average visitor views 2.53 pages per visit, some more some less but on average 2.53 pages. Saying all of this though I could be wrong lol.

         I hate this form of system. The one that makes me laugh the most, is that a majority of Americans have 2.5 children. What's that? 2 full children and one that is only half a child, or a 3rd of a child when it is 2.25? Or, maybe it's in the womb but not born yet? Yeah, maybe that's it. Or, maybe the parents are just thinking about it, and about half way there. LOL!
         
         They need to take all of the math out of this, and just count. I don't need to know that I had .35 views. Just round it off. I think the only reason they do that, is to make it sound more important. Lord knows I heard enough of these statistics when I was in retail. Like the average family buying 3.5 gallons of milk in a month....who cares!
