   I just hit my 4th Anniversary ($ anniversary in the title....LOL) with Hubpages and will hit the 2 Million Pageviews mark before the end of the month.   I hit 1 Million Pageviews just over a year ago (9/23/11).   
   
   To all of you newbies, hang in there.  Learn all you can, write all you can, and you will begin to see it all pay off for you.
   
   To all of you veterans, it's been such a pleasure learning from you and enjoying each other's successes along the way.
   
   I'm hoping to write some new hubs very soon!  Work and life has been very busy for me over the last year.

           I've been around tending to my flock but not as active as I once was... seems all the SEO advice I shared was yesterday's news so I've been working on several of my blogs.  Moved a ton of content too which funny enough has kept me from reaching that elusive Million Views mark...  I probably would have reached it last year this time but I moved nearly 100 hubs and now sitting at just over 800K in views.  Not a big deal though, it gives me reason to keep coming back...

            I hear ya!  I need to re-vamp a lot of my hubs too.  I went without my desktop computer for over a year because it had some issues (probably a virus) and then I moved and got a divorce.  Things got too hectic.  Now things are smoothing out and I have had my computer fixed.  I am supposed to pick it up from the shop on Friday.  I'm hoping to spend some quality time online fixing old hubs, writing some new ones, etc. as the weather gets cooler and I want to stay indoors.  My new place is much more conducive to writing.

      A lot has changed on HubPages in the 4 years that I've been here.  Lots of friends (and fantastic writers!) have come and gone, the days of HP Staff being only 3-4 people has changed to a small army of folks, and certainly Google's treatment towards HP has changed.  I think HP has done a pretty good job keeping up with all these changes and I'm fortunate to have ridden the wave.  I have seen an increase in my earnings every single year.  Up until this past month, I was ahead this year over last year at this same time.  This past month wasn't quite as good as last Sept....so I'm a tad worried my October might night be as good either.  October is my best month every year due to some strong seasonal hubs.

   You must have seen a lot of changes over time! Having only been on here 18 months i'm starting to gauge some of the peaks and lows throughout the year. Ironically i've been successfull during the summer due to a couple of targeted hubs. However expect to see bigger things over this winter.

    An even better question is this, if you knew then, what you know now being part of hubpages, what would you do differently, if anything?

       Thank you Wesley!  Secrets?  I actually started a hub when I hit 1 million pageviews because so many had asked the same thing then.  Funny enough, I never completed the hub or published it.  Maybe I should modify it and encompass reaching 2 million.  I really did nothing different to get to 2 million than I did to get to 1 million except leave my hubs up.   
       
       If I knew then, what I know now, I would have written more.  Of course, it's never too late for that, but it's important to keep writing so that you stay in practice.  With practice you improve.  With improvement I could have been bringing in more money by this point.    I'm very pleased with the passive income I have produced, but more is always better.

    I reached my 2 million pageviews on Thursday near 5 pm cst....and here it is Sunday around 10:40 pm cst and I still don't have my medal or my accolade updated.     Guess it takes awhile.  If it had happened late Friday I could probably understand.   Surely, it will show up by late tomorrow.
