adsense nonsense

   Hi all
   I joined hub pages just over three months ago and have 20 hubs.
   My question to anyone is, why does adsense not show any earnings? I know for a fact that two of the ads were clicked on and yet no show.
   I am not expecting any large amount through Google adsense, but an indication of a dollar or two would provide some well needed encouragement.
   Any Ideas?

      Well you have to get some views on those hubs to make any earnings.  the CTR is usually under 5%, so that means you would need probably at least 50 views total per day.
      
      Also, half your hubs are just general information.  People don't click on those.  I have found that the people who are looking to buy are the clickers, therefore I always write about popular everyday consumer products.

      Have you properly linked your adsense account in the affiliate settings?  Have created any url channels on your Adsense account to track CRT?  And have you linked your analytics to your adsense account to track impression?  If you have then contact the HP staff to see if they can find a problem.

      Have you done anything yet so far as promotion??  Spread your links around, i.e., backlink.

   Information hubs can certainly generate clicks. Perhaps focus on certain niches of a topic.
   If you take a look at some of the top hubs in the Hubs category, many of them are focused on giving the viewer specific information on a topic.
   Be sure to use your key words well to help bring in specific traffic. It helps to use sub-headings and give titles to your images and videos.
   And don't feel alone. Right now many hubbers are experiencing low or non-existent google ad revenue.

   Adsense isn't nonsense. It's a legal and legitimate program to get your hands on shared revenue.
   
   However, I took a trip to your profile and noticed that you have yet to cross over the 1000 view mark. The only reason I could tell that was because you get an accolade for the achievement and you've yet to receive it.
   
   On a side note- I would highly suggest you take a few hub links, like 3 and open/post in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum thread. I only say that because I review a few of your latest hubs and they could be improved upon. A couple of them have short content and need better keywords/tags.
   
   As for those who claim that people do not click on information articles, I would beg to differ. I know people do click on ads on those type of hubs, because I've made some clicks from my informational/educational articles.

   He says he knows for a fact that 2 ads have been clicked on, this suggests he clicked them himself which may not be displayed since Google knows this and will count them as invalid clicks, it will also get you banned for life if you continue to do it.

      Yes I did click on them myself, only to find out if the system actually works, and No I don't intend to continue to click my own ads.
      why would I do that?

         To see if it works? You're kidding right. Did you think it was BS? Come on man.
         Some people think that they can gimmick the system, but fail to realize that Google has ways to determine false or fraud type clicks.

         @guitars-alley. That's why they aren't showing. Google knows when you click on your own ads. Also, google checks for click fraud. The other reasons you probably aren't getting clicks is that you will generally get about 2 clicks for every 100 page impressions. This is only from search engine traffic however. So how may page impressions have you had to date?

            Just checked my adsense and found I have 122 page impressions which have earned me my first 25 cents, which is a promising start. I guess I should now concentrate on improving my hubs.

   Don't forget that 40% of the time that someone views the ads, those impressions belong to HubPages. So you would only earn money on, for instance, 60 of every 100 views.
   
   Also, check to see where your traffic is coming from. If most of your traffic is from other hubbers, that would account for a lack of clicks as hubbers don't generally click on ads.
