That's a lot of money that could have been donated to animal rescue organizations...such a shame.  Could have adopted a dog and saved many more.

Well, I wouldn't spend that much on a dog.  But, to be honest....money is relative.  If I had $50,000 in the bank; I wouldn't think twice about spending $2,500 on a tv.  Wouldn't even blink.  This man probably has $50 Million in the bank....what's 1.5 Million????
This is a dog that is rare and yada yada yada.  Hopefully he will love it...that's all that matters.
People spend lots of money on more wasteful items.  Saying they should donate it is a bit ridiculous.  How much of your money do you donate?  You can't dictate how people spend their hard (or not so hard) earned money.

You can leave a polite comment in forums without belittling someone's opinion.  If you feel the purchase was justified...say so.  You have no right to question me.  For your information...I do donate to animal causes...more than I can afford at times and I volunteer at a local shelter so you can take your rude tone elsewhere.  Just what Hubpages needs is another person who doesn't understand how to reply without being annoying.

My opinion is just that. My opinion. I don't agree with what you said. You can and did respond however you wish. Doesn't change my opinion as I'm sure it doesn't change yours.   No need for attacks.   Oh no, a mean newbie?  Wow.  I was only commenting on how I felt about the topic and what you wrote.  Free speech lives on.

I don't have a problem with your opinion...like I already said.  I have a problem with you questioning me about what I donate?  You know nothing about me or what I do.  I am a vegan and animals are my top priority in life so this is something I'm very passionate about.  You have a right to state the obvious that others can spend their money on whatever they choose without questioning what I do with my life.   You don't want attacks...don't dish them out to begin with.

Good for you. Passion is great.   My point with your specific comment is that your passion is not someone else's Passion. Yes my comment is obvious.  Just thought you needed to be reminded of other people in the world.

I am wondering how many meals that would provide for hungry children. Of course I mean the money not the dog smile .

It must be nice to have so much disposable income that you could spend that amount on something without even blinking!

Thats too much.yikes That dog is probably a show dog. They could've been using that money to help the dogs that really need help.mad Or donated that amount of money to charity to save dogs.
