    Hey Hubbers,

    Who is responsible....?

As you can see, I put this under the category of Self-Education Advice and Tips. I did so, because I would like this thread to be a two part teaching aid.

    A) No one is responsible for what YOU learn. Self Education is a requirement.

    B) To show that responsibility plays a factor more than possibly recognized in today's society.

Many people continue to point, shoot and fire, placing blame on other people or things, and it's done so, to avoid their own responsibility, not only to themselves, but to those who live in their immediate locale.

No one can force you to learn. No one can force you to do anything against your will. If it is not in your will to be self sufficient, self guiding and an artist at self improvement, then you are harming yourself and those who you interact with.

Learning is a death ending process. It only ceases at death, when the brain no longer functions. What you learn is up to you, just as much as what you choose to ignore as well.

When you choose to ignore things, which can help you improve upon yourself, then you have failed in your responsibility to yourself.

It all boils down to the individual and the responsibility of oneself. Accepting responsibility for oneself, is the path to peace and peace of mind. wink big_smile

Okay, my rant is done. Feel free to add anything you like. smile

I think it's a very good discussion, thanks for your concern first. Self-education is not only an important factor that determines one's success in life, but it also helps one to educate others. Not many people are self-learners around us, isn't it? So it's our responsibility to help people help themselves in self-education.

It's important that parents of infants should pay attention to raise their kids in proper way, imparting proper education to them. I think proper education is not something that can be taught in schools or colleges. It begins at home. Given an infant has an average intelligence level, only parents can make them an extraordinary person by providing education in a scientific way.

Then it's the responsibility of someone like you or me or someone else who loves to live life for greater cause of helping people to attain success  in life following the path of self-education or self-help.

Great question there ...who is responsible..?

It is a do or die...question... learn and adapt to change or die  being outdated and obscure.

The responsibility to educate oneself is the key to survival..that is the law of nature..I guess the sooner we become wise to this aspect of living the better. smile

Learn to survive and become the fittest. smile

      Nicely said.
Learning to survive to become the fittest, is a dead mentality and slowly dying. It's actually an animal ideology that isn't something necessary for living. It's only made to appear that way. lol But, thank you Sofs. smile

I guess the way I look at it is, 'there are none so blind as those who will not see.'

Don't know about the religious part, just know that one cannot and will not learn if they are not receptive to learning regardless of the subject.  I read a lot of things that I know I will not agree with, but I want to learn what others think and how.  I do not yet know everything but I try to learn something, not matter how miniscule or how large, everyday.  I am open to any education until or unless it proves illogical, and yet I learn from that as well.  My point is some are open to learning and some are  not.  Those that are not, will not learn anymore, if they were ever capable of it.  They think they know everything, including what is best for the rest of us.  I take the responsibility for my education and the results thereof.  Success or failure.....it is on my shoulders, no one else's.
