Hey all,
Just wanted to point out that when I was looking at some of my page stats I saw one that made me wonder what it was. The reference came from Google.com.eg. I took a look at it, and it seems to be written (I'm merely taking an educated guess here, however) in what I believe to be written in a middle eastern language.
Somebody's taking the time to convert my text into something they can easily understand.
Has anyone else noticed this? I think it's so cool that we almost have a universal translator between our cultures through Google.

Hi GM yes, I get lots traffic from other countries also. It is interesting and agree, it feels good that a whole other culture is interested in my Hub or learning about our worlds.
That set me wondering, and I had a little look. Over the past week, my google hits have been:
google.com 477
google.co.uk 254
images.google.com 58
google.ca 32
google.com.au 24
mail.google.com 14
google.co.in 13
google.co.nz 11
google.ie 8
google.co.za 4
If you have Analytics it will show you where your traffic is coming from. Mine is almost exclusively US, India and the UK with a few from Saudi Arabia as well.
google.com 14 187 288 288
search.yahoo.com 16 111 193 193

According to Hubpages Traffic Sources page exactly half (15) of my top 30 traffic sources are Google pages, many of which cover countries which don't have English as a first language. Also .eg is Egypt, as this page shows.
i do get traffic from google.np also dont know which country it is. But i think if we use any country name in hub it will get registered in the same country google.
.np is Nepal. Guessing you may have a hub which is relevant to Nepal (either Nepal is mentioned or it is relevent to Nepalese internet users).
Yes in one of my hubs i have reffed Nepal. Thanks BB.
I get a lot of traffic from the Middle East, but I don't think of that as 'other countries' because I live here! The Internet doesn't care about boundaries, though some countries censor content pretty heavily.
Here are my sources, lots of Googles
google.com
hubpages.com
search.yahoo.com
search.msn.com
images.google.com
google.ca
google.co.uk
stumbleupon.com
google.com.au

My Google Anylaics account shows I got a click from almost every *known* country in the world. Some of the lesser known aren't there.

Hi can you please help me understand that google analytics I just find it too complicated to follow. Ty
Signup for google analytical and create a url of hubpages.com(as a new project) and you will get stats on dashboard.
Ty, I have written a long hub on Google Analytics. Would you be willing to take a look and see if it's helpful to you? If its still confusing, please let me know and I will try to explain further.
You're lucky! I am hardly getting any traffic at all :-(

Well, when you are suffering from depression and you opened your hubpages stats then you notice that 9 of your supposed to be featured hubs got unfeatured due to lack of traffic.. Very disappointing indeed but, can you guys here suggest some tips in improving hits? I don't want to spam my facebook...

I have now three times posted in the technical forum. Once I received no response - about the search function not working. The second time Matt eventually came on, and it took awhile to convince him that the search function wasn't working. Eventually I discovered that if one banned third party...

I am not going to drag up the recent massive plagiarism activity again, but - as you know Maddie - I have found that quite a lot of my hubs have been de-indexed and my traffic here is dropping despite publishing new work and despite actively promoting myself outside of hubpages. I realize that it...

I just realized that my Hubs get absolutely no views from Bing and Yahoo; however Google on the other hand still happens to send around 400 a day. Any idea why this is happening? One particular hub actually ranks extremely well on Google and gets me 50% of my traffic, I just searched for similar...

I get a lot of traffic from the Search Engines and I see a lot of people asking how do I get listed in the search engines. The answer to that is simple I tell them. Yes I know the myth that you should let the search engines find you but I never have. One of my favorite sayings is " If you...
