Let US make ...

I just woke up with a thought and wanted to write it down before I go back to bed.

      Genesis 1:26  let us make man in our image; after our likeness;
This sounds like this might have required a joint effort, that "WE" make man in "OUR" image.

Lets play with translation just a little,
Let us make flesh in our image, and as we like it.
..OR  .. we each will make a physical body and inhabit it.
    -  -  -
Rev 4:11   " ......  for thou has created all things, and for thou pleasure they  ARE and WERE created."  ???

Lucifer thought it should be set up one way and the one we call God wanted it another way.
They took a vote and Lucifer lost

It is not hard for us to understand that we (as humans) and everyone that has come before us have, created (manipulated) our environment such as it is today.
So we can say that We have created this which we call the physical realm in which we live
We know very little about the creative power of our minds ...  yet think ourselves to be all knowing about it.

I have heard a few Atheist profess that mankind can and will evolve enough, if religion doesn't destroy us first, that we will one day be able to create life.
Why do we think that this hasn't been done before?  And we as a species are the product of our own creativity?

If the physical life on earth evolves, the spiritual also must evolve.

I think the spiritual realm evolved enough that they said  let us make a physical plane and in a united effort  ..BANG..
    here we are.

I know.  Everybody is going to hate this idea because this contains Atheistic and Theistic views.
And never the two shall meet.

This would explain Jesus saying  We are all gods!

I'll probably wake up in the Morning and wish I didn't post this but here goes

We is Jesus- Jesus has always been.
      John 6:38-40 -
For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me; and this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up at the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

The first verse suggests that Jesus came down from Heaven. This seems to contradict the belief that he first existed as a man when he was born into this world. For if Jesus was first conceived through Mary and had no pre-existance, how could he come down from Heaven. We (Man) come into existence when we are born into this world, but would it be correct to say that we came down from Heaven? If a verse said that we came down from Heaven, would you think that we pre-existed in Heaven?

      John 1:15
15 John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' "

John the Baptist was 6 months older than Jesus Christ. So it is physically impossible for Christ to be before him. Surely this verse shows preexistence, at least before John the Baptist.

      Jude 1:25
to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

      &

      Colossians 1:17
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

These 2 verses you just read blatantly say that he is before all things.

Heavenbound, If you really read what I wrote above with an open mind; you would see that this concept does not contradict the verses which you posted in any way.

God cures?  If God was all powerful, why did God allow the 'curse' of illness? The bible was written by men trying to make sense of their world with the knowledge they had - not by god.

           ME
My OP  above should put a different light upon this statement as well.  If we were with God before we were born into our mothers womb and if we have free will, ???, And this is what we choose?
It would be wrong for God to keep undoing what we are wanting to do.  It wouldn’t be wrong to enhance that which we are trying to do.

I think the opening concept answer many questions that are otherwise unanswerable.
(I think) It is the best answer that I have ever heard that  removes the reason for many many questions.

I gotta shower and get out of here now.

Interesting concepts one and all but in order to fully understand what you are discussing you must search all scripture for comprehension. Concerning God's multiplicity, it is a combination of attributes He is referring to including the Son and Holy Spirit. You should read my hub on - Is Jesus the Son of God?

We are all Gods or sons of Gods IF we put on Jesus. Now Galatians 4:1-5 explains we are heirs until we are grown up enough to be given that kind of power.

As far as giving life their are only two. John 5:26 The Father has life in himself (Genesis breathed life into us) so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself.

I notice that Jesus said you are sons of God  or you are gods (remember the problem that exists with translation)  And you are gods,  He didn’t say that they “Will Be” if they do such-and-such.       He said You Are, he didn’t you could be if you choose to be?
      ======================

Mornin Mr T  I did read the article and do not see where it adresses anything about what I am suggesting in the OP.

      If you could clarify please.

By saying NOW you are sons of God is a indication of the prerequisite, accepting Jesus as the Son of God.
Sorry I have not answered sooner. I am still learning how to move around in here.
