Mr. Obama, or Mr. 'bombs-away' bra-wearing Barack - a.k.a 'el presidente or capo, and/or head honcho, has ruined our country by continuing needlessly on w/ G.W.Bush's b.s... The Administration took its oath in office and placed more of our soldiers in harms way with the approval of both sides of Congress. Healthcare was also never addressed. Am I right? Who deserves a new presidency in 2012, and what will i choose to need or want as a citizen?
If you think that Obama failed you (which he has), and you think that Republicans are the same crap as the Democrats, then check out Ron Paul.
He's for:
Immediately ending all the wars
Cutting spending AND lowering taxes (he has a 20+ year record to support these claims)
Legalizing drugs
NOT torturing people
Bringing the troops home from all over the globe
ending corporate bailouts (once again, a voting record to back it up)
and countless other "kooky" ideas that the public loves to hear.
Yes the KKK and NAZIs support him... he must be a great guy.

Yes... he is the one to lead the nation. Good job, Evan.
The message of liberty appeals to all groups and all people. Just because a Nazi likes Paul doesn't mean that Paul's a Nazi.
If X likes Y, that does not mean that Y likes X. Got that?
Ron Paul, in 2008, got more donations than any other candidate from the military.
Sorry that he's actually threatening the status quo, of which you're a fan.
Quick! TMM!! I just saw a Muslim!! Get him before he gets "US".
Oh, don't start using logic, Evan. He'll just start accusing you of being a "leant leftist" (sic).
the problems we face are deep and many. So far no one has even an inkling they have a plan to try. They are all pointing in a circle. not sure any new candidate would have answers at all.
Candidates don't have answers, people do. The problem is most president's forget that the people have a voice that needs to be heard. Mr. Obama is hearing G.W.'s old voice, which was listening to Clinton's, which had tried to listen to the senior G.W.'s voice. The truth is, we are under the impression that people are naive and stupid, so by this rationale our election system was created by naive people anyway. At the tippity-top of the naive totem pole is our president, which is unfortunate.
I was reminded today (by Jon Stewart) that if you are a Democrat, it's very important to note that Al Gore had won the popular election (most of America had wanted him), yet the presidency went to another candidate. Who's makes the calls? Who calls the shots? Who are we shooting for buying the next round in 2012, because I'm tired of paying! If Obama gets another term, I'm moving to Panama City!
I am not in favor of Obama either, was trying to say any candidate right now faces insurmountable trouble. No magic wand.
We, people, have never had a say! Except to Vote. The Party platforms have already been set by that time, for both parties. Those are the Goals we suposidly want? Like you I say when the H... did we ever come up with or want them.
ex-pat is looking beter all the time now, yes.
It's funny- why are there only two parties (and a shifty third) anyways? It goes back to J.F.K. and Nixon, to my recollection.
I think thats correct, JFK forward I believe.
The TEA party seems to me to be an attempt at resurecting the John Burch society with a modern softer twist. no good.
Softer? Okay. But other than that, you're totally right. The Tea Party may have started out as a good thing, but it's been co-opted, and distracted. Now it's just a bunch of angry footsoldiers for the corporatists.
The tea party encompusses people from the independents to the strict conservatives. They are a mix of all those who are fleeing the Socialist Deomcrat agenda.
There are only two parties an they recognize that one of those parties has to be re-claimed, so they are trying to take back the Republican party from the Progressives. Who are no different then the Democrat Socialists, only slower in their implimentation of the aganda.
The tea baggers are a bunch of clueless cry babies. They idolize Palin so that should some it up right there. Anything but a Republican. Tax breaks and repealing Obamacare seems to be their goal. No one has a plan to modify or replace Obamacare. Even before it was passed, Obama asked if anyone has a better solution. No one stepped up to the plate. All they did was bitch about it when it was passed. I admit, it needs modifications. Repealing it will get us right back to the same ole B.S. situation where we started from. Reducing taxes and passing out tax breaks like candy (especailly for the rich) isn't going to solve anything. It's just a quick way to get approval ratings for a short time. Where's the money suppose to come from? Some think by borrowing more money from China or reduce spending is the answer. Reduce spending on stuff we all want. Typical American way, we want and want but no one want to pay for it!
Yes he did ask and then stuck his fingers in his ears and shouted LaLaLaLaLaLa when they tried to offer suggestions.
A politician represents a 'look' of American politics, and does not encompass the legislature itself at all. Even Mr. Obama's character was a horrible choice on the whole.
...dutchman1951, Reality Bytes and Paul Wingert you guys are great for discussing this with me. Mr. Obama will (hopefully) go down in history as one of America's laziest and most worthless president's endangering the well-being of the Democratic Party by which I am a part of. Maybe if one of us runs for the Democratic candidacy we can work together on HubPages.com and create a cabinet of worthwhile executives and professionals! It seems we're more sensible being a mixed group of nobodys than a supposedly 'talented' group of idiots!
Thanks guys!
The Tea Part seems to be the party most often used as the example for modern reformations as wel.
The tea party are just a abunch of folks who work every day and come home and have to deal with being screwed by their Govt and big corperations. And they are tired of it, as is most of America. Tired of them all and the Socialist/Progressive big govt bailout and tax us agenda, which is bleeding us dry.
We have been bled dry... the facts are that the U.S. debt is overwhelming.

Will Hilliary Clinton Be Elected President In 2016?Do you think Hilliary Clinton will be elected the first woman president in 2016. If not who do you think can beat her. Who will the Republicans run for president. How will they match up against Hilliary Clinton?

No more Mr. Nice Guy. If Obama hopes to retain the presidency, he has to stop capitulating to the GOP and grow a pair. He has to come out swinging. And show American who he REALLY IS.I confess, I honestly don't know. I never drank the koolaid of 'Change we can believe in" and Obama as the...

I would say that the odds are that Hillary Clinton will run for President in 2016. I don't think her ego will allow her to do otherwise. Now to my mind, the moment Hillary announces her candidacy it will be a forgone conclusion that the democratic nomination is hers. She can literally just phone it...
