I am not sure if I am jealous or just too critical but I have never found Eva Longoria, Jennifer Aniston or Mariah Carey all that beautiful. I do not think they are ugly, all three are pretty women, I just do not think they are "all that" at least in my opinion
I agree because many celebrities today do not have "natural beauty" many have paid a high price to look the way they do.
Plastic surgeons make a grip of money padding body parts and I think it will continue as long as hollywood thinks that everyone should stay young and any signs of aging is the end of the world.
Youth still rules and celebrities no matter how old they get want to continue to look like they just graduated high school.
Just look at Britney Spears new music video called "I wanna go" How old would you say she was or trying to portray? it is definitely not the 30 years that she actually is.
Same with Mariah Carey she is a new mother at the age of 41 years old but if you look at her new lollipop splash fragrance campaign picture you would swear she was only 20.
The only place to really find true beauty is to travel around the world and go to underdeveloped countries the woman are breathtaking and all natural.
hmmm I actually think you would find more true beauties in poor undeveloped countries. A lot of the classic actresses are gorgeous to me also because I doubt they have plastic surgery. example - Sophia Loren.
I don't think it's usually jealousy. People just have different tastes when it comes to who they think is pretty. I think Jennifer Anniston and (especially) Eva Longoria are both really pretty. I can see how some people would think Mariah Carey is, but she's not on my "list". I never understood the thing about Sophia Loren. Anyway... people just find different things attractive.
I don't think that it's jealousy either. For instance, I know there are some guys that just aren't that good-looking to me but whom others adore, like Brad Pitt (maybe I just like older men...
Like the old saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Let's take Mariah Carey for example. If she couldn't sing a note, would others find her attractive? And if Paris Hilton was not from a famous and rich family, would we think her gorgeous? Actor, Tom Hanks, is not a "heart throb", yet he is thought to be great-looking. Who, in their right mind, doesn not like Tom Hanks?
Placing too much importance on a celebrities looks is artificial. How about just recognizing their talent instead?
I've never had that much of a thing for celebrities, either.
In fact, I want to shout out the three most extraordinarily beautiful women I know. I won't disclose their names for the sake of my own protection and sanity but one is the bartender at the pool hall I play at: kind of a smaller, prettier Salma Hayek.
Another is a college friend of mine who hasnt seemed to have aged in twenty years after birthing two kids. And the third is a sp-ed teacher who is just the bees' knees as far as I'm concerned.
All of these women wear little makeup if any and all have a way of being very understated. I guess that's why I've never found that appeal in celebrities.

I'm torn! I loved Jennifer's long layers and she just cut her hair to a bob. My feeling is "why mess with a good thing". What do you think? New cut: Before:
