   What can be done to change my URL http://hubpages.com/profile/Sylvia%27s+Thoughts doesn't work when I want to post it on other sites. It doesn't reroute here.

         I guess I would have to abandon my account and start all over! This really sucks. I've been connect with a site where the developers couldn't make a change like that. They should have told me when I created the account that my username wouldn't work as it was written. I'll just deal with it, I'm NOT starting all over again.

               I'm quite surprised that the system didn't catch it upfront. You would think it would, right? Try emailing the Hubpage team. They're experimenting with changing urls anyway so they appear to be more like subdomains....there's a whole thread on this somewhere buried in the announcements. Therefore, they do have the capability of doing it....surely they can handle it while they're changing other urls.

                     Sylvia, I clicked the link and had no problems with it?  Where else have you posted the link that it isn't linking properly?
                     I'll try it from there and see what happens.  I can't actually see any reason why you should have to abandon your account.

                        I have problems with it when I want to put the link on another site. A lot of times it doesn't work. Says there's no such sight. If I want to change user name, I would have to. All I want them to do is remove the apostrophe. That's what's causing the problem.
