I have applied with Ad Sense since I did my first Hub, approximately 4 weeks ago. Twice they have sent the below email:

    Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

    Issues:
    - Domain ownership

    ---------------------

The same email had this text on it:

    Further detail:
Domain ownership: To complete our review of your website, we need to confirm that you have access to the HTML source code of the URL you've submitted or were given access to AdSense via a third-party platform.

    I. If you host your own website or can edit the HTML code, please complete the following steps:

       1. Access the HTML source code of hubpages.com/hub/Recommendations-for-Stemming-Animal-Abuse.
       2. Create a separate page on the site and paste the snippet:

This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions:  ca-pub-9222437322813499

       3. Resubmit the application as described below after replacing hubpages.com/hub/Recommendations-for-Stemming-Animal-Abuse in the 'Website URL' with the URL of the page on which you have pasted the snippet.

So, I created a new capsule on my Hub, "What I Did on My Disability Vacation", and resubmitted my application and they sent the above email to me for a second time. This is the third declination I have received from them. I am more than just a little frustrated. I would like to get a second hub started but I am not going to advertise for free for them since they won't approve me because I don't "OWN" the hubpages.com domain name. I gave them the hubpages.com with my page extension on it. Any recommendations?

If you want to have an adsense account the easiest way is to create a blog at blogger.com, make ten decent posts, at least, then re-apply.

Your not going to get approved. You can not prove ownership of a hubpage. Do the following to be approved for adsense.
      1. Create a free website. webs.com will work.
      2. Create a page and include the snippet they are requiring.
      3. Confirm through Google that the snipit is there.

Google is known for doing this.. you need a few more hubs .. say at least ten and you will get accepted.
You need to give your profile URL.. and this is what I think you did..
A blog is a good suggestion.. we have seen this working well at least 10 post and then apply
    Best wishes to you smile

Thank you to everyone. I actually sent them my hub instead of my profile! They certainly are not very helpful as far as explaining the specifics. I will do as you recommend and keep a "happy face". I appreciate every reply!

Also submit your *profile page* not a specific hub.

Or do what hundreds of others have, create ten hubs, age them a few months, and apply using your Hubpages profile url.

You can get typically get adsense approval via Hubpages, you just have to do it the right way.

That is what most everyone is saying. That is the route I plan on taking. I wish I would have hung onto the acct I had with them many moons ago. Oh well, live and learn. Thank you.
