   If you are asking for poems to be donated I think you need to to that in another forum.  (If 30% of the proceeds go to the cause, what happens to the 70%?)

   well thats why I need help in many areas especially this area because I'm not sure what to do with the future earning that I may collect in the future remember it's still in the making i chose to say 30% just cause I have a luck number it is 3 anyways for the time being I just put that % but if you have any suggestions this would be greatly appriciated thanks for your comments!

   I would suggest that if you are not paying contributors, all  (100% of) the proceeds should go to charity.

      I have thought of doing just that but I have to pay for my books to be created into hardback books first. This could become price expensive depending on how I would like it to look and of what kind of paper. Also if I want it to be black print or color print words it cost. Now if I want to add color pictures like I want too, this is going to cost more. This all also depends on what company I'm going to use! All this needs to be worked on before I could even start to sell my book in order to make any profits in the future! My husband, family, and I have been talking about this everyday we also have agreed to use a percent of the earnings for a marble bench that will be bought from Lilse Memorial Gardens funeral home where my son Ryan is buried, by his feet it will be placed. This cemetry is beautiful compared to all other scary looking upright tombstones. At this place there are no headstones like that, it is like a park setting with waterfalls and biblical statues and art like the last supper etc. All headstones are flat or in the mausoleum for the cremated people. So a percent will be sent to this place until we finish paying for it! We are still talking about other places like our church Cornerstone in Fresno, Ca could as well use any finacial help. They helped us with my son's headstone by getting a donor to help us with this cost, from Lilse Tinker Funeral homes This family owns many Lilse's Memorial Dignity Funeral & cemetry's here in my home town where my son rest. This place is unique to the other's I've ever seen. Thank you for your suggestions and your help is always welcome new friend!

   If you use something like Lulu or Createspace you costs will be very small.
   
   But the bottom line is if you want people to give work for charity, all profits must go to charity. If you want people to buy the work to support a cause, all profits must go to the cause.
   
   If not, then you need to cover all costs including paying the writers or giving them a fair profit share--or you write it yourself.

      ''Bottom line'' I don't see what's wrong with doing two good deeds at once. That's an extra good deed for her cause. There doing a noble thing for a great cause.  your rude & spiteful. There trying to help the hospital, trying to purchase a bench in memory of their son,& helping their church. Why dose all the profit has to go to charity or all profits must go to the cause, why 1 & not the other. I think she's doing a good thing. By supporting her cause it would help many people when the book is done. SO DON'T HATE! Congratulate.

   so far we have decided to donate to 2 charites childrens hospital 25% and the other 25% to fresno rescue mission and the rest will be carefully decided. thanks for your help!
