Hello Fellow Hubbers,
I'm TootsieLu, a new hubber to the community. Can anyone tell me how we get paid? Or provide me with any information on salary?
Thank you.
You don't get a "salary" here. You apply for Adsense and HPads. You earn money from page views and ad clicks. You can also earn by selling Amazon products on your hubs. Make sure you never click your own ads or ask friends/family/colleagues to do so. If that happens, you could lose your Google Adsense opportunities forever.
Salary?
Do you think you are going to earn a salary, as in have a job?
As a writer on HP, you are a freelance writer and your earnings are generated through the affiliates you join.
Google Adsense is a revenue sharing program. As a publisher, you get to share revenue with other people and Google. If you join the Hubpages Ads Program, you must first be a Google Adsense Publisher, but will earn revenue also.
You can earn additional revenues through the other various affiliates programs that HP offers. Not to mention, you can earn money via other avenues.
I suggest you read the FAQ's page and visit the Learning Center.
Btw- Welcome to Hubpages.

I've never generated a cent from these two programs and they've also never really worked properly. Constantly my adsense claims its active then I'm not approved, then it just mucks up everything. I'm not making any money on hubs as it is but this isn't helping anything.

So I've got a few hubs up and really just started here on hubpages. But the impressions that I get on hubpages, vs my google adsense doesn't quite make sense. I understand they take 60% of the impressions, but I was just curious. Those of you with over 100 posts and using google adsense are you...

The assumption with creating hubs for adsense is that it will eventually become passive income. Which means that the more content your write, the more you build on that passive income. This also should mean that adsense earnings can/should only go up.Has this been true for everyone?

Being a HubPages writer who has been banned from Google Adsense, I would like to see some alternatives to the Earnings Program (which I cannot take part in), other than Amazon. I have not had much success with Amazon as I do not write on product-orientated issues. It would be great to have the...
