My observations of recent forum activity has caused me to conclude that this has been going on for quite awhile.
What war is that? Reclamation of HP.
What am I talking about? Who knows. Who cares. For those who aren't involved, peace reigns.
I only care about which titles are shoved in my face everyday.
For new titles, I will participate in this war. It does not matter which side the title represents.
[An Edit: Apparently, obliqueness is not allowed here based on all the responses to my OP. I shall spell it out: The religionists took over HubPages sometime ago. “Everyone” else has decided to take it back.]
Hi paradigmsearch.
Very observant.
But...reclamation suggests that there was a specific base that got "taken over". What was that base? And what is a "religionist"?
And do you see the "war" as literal or figurative? a war of words, of will, of politics, or of spirits?
Just asking, as your post is very interesting and I hope you'll elaborate on your viewpoint?
Nice try. No. Just getting involved in one.
Are you not the one who started this thread?
Does the title not say "A War in Progress"?
Therefore, you are starting a War. And, it's obvious that you've already chosen a side, it's just not been said what side you're on or what the war is truly about.
What am I a keeper of? Please do tell, because I would like to know.
Are you sure your perception is correct? Or are you just deceiving yourself into believing you are correct?
I am not sure how to proceed on this...
Should I spell out what I meant by:
“What war is that? Reclamation of HP.”
?
No War of Reclamation on HP, just a bunch of delusional people running around talking about having a relationship with a god that they themselves cannot prove is in existence.
....is this a private war?....i'm into peace myself.....
I do not want any political or religious group to take over HP and call it their home.
Don't think that will ever really happen. Too much diversity of opinion between hubbers.
Agreed. And we need to make darn sure it stays that way.
Yep, only been here a few months and way too much religion and political ideology. Although, I have to say, I've been far from neutral with regards the latter. However, learning my lesson, political forums are not good for the old blood pressure.
Political forums have never been a problem for me.
It's the religion forums and their obnoxious titles being shoved in my face every day that wears on me over time.
Yeah, I get that too. I look at the title and think errr. No, or errr yes. Because they honestly, IMHO, don't deserve a full sentence answer. The questions are too silly.
I don't think I've ever seen the forums this dead before.
We should liven them up a little Now, what happened to that thread regarding Moses and his testaments?
And my hub traffic is the worst it's been in a long, long time.
I only came to see what the fuss was about. Now I saw it. Later.
Oh! this is too funny! I will do what I can to help bring the *love* back to your hubs! I don't like wars, can't we make nice? )

I'm curious what everyone thinks of the cuts planned to lower the deficit. In my opinion they are aiming them all at the elderly and poor. What does everyone else think?

Many news outlets, like CNN, have posted that Leon Panetta is now suggesting Isreal will attack Iran in the spring. Is this a good idea? Should America get involved?

Hi every body, the thread now in the society about divorce is alarmingly high. in your candid opinion, is the law protecting the institution is meant to protect or is actually eroding marriage and encouraging divorce? Do you advocate for a review or what?

Do kids burn out from sports that start young? My wife are considering letting our five year old daughter play competitive soccer. Our only concern is she has lots of time to play (even if she wants to now) and by starting so young it burns her out. Are there stats on burnout based on when a kid...
