dont know if this is religious topic or not but it does raise a morel question which is still being debated today and i would like to know what everyone thinks about it.
firstly let me give background as to why i pose this i sat one day and read a newspaper story about a 24 year old man who was given bail from court for assult on his girlfriend however the same man had 47 CONVICTIONS for assult and a whole lot of other nasty stuff one of which stood out as unbelievable he and a group of other man gang raped a woman while her boyfriend was beaten and locked in his boot of his car and heard everything and this man was still free to do more nasty things to other people how the hell did he not get locked up and here is what really pissed me off an old woman of 65 years was locked up in a hard jail for contempt of court what was her crime she would not let an energy company come onto her land to cut down trees.........................
after reading this i spoke with one of my friends and his statement to this whole thing was as follows............
if the justice system of a country fails its people then they should adopt a new system and that system should be PEOPLE GO TO JAIL ANIMALS GET PUT DOWN...
now i know he got the idea from a book or film or something but do you think that this idea should be used or not it seems to me that the world doesnt know who the bad people are and when they do they dont know what to do with them
people will only take so much before they take the law into thier own hands in a real bad way and i mean a real bad way it is written on the walls.....
so what do you think is it time for PEOPLE GO TO JAIL ANIMALS GET PUT DOWN?????
I think that the justcie system in the USA is flawed but it is what it is.
Thanks for raising awareness to this unfortunate fact.
...What do you mean?
If you're saying people who behave like animals should be "put down" like animals, then....we already have the system of punishment (jail time, death penalty for hideous crimes if so convicted, etc.).
If the "law" fails sometimes, we've (at least in America) still abided by the concept of innocent until PROVEN guilty, and therefore erred on the side of right the best we can.
...If you're talking about vigilante justice....well, that's been proven to not work any better! And takes the "law" out of the hands of a proper group and puts it into the hands of each individual or an unofficial group that may have their own motivation and agenda.
The legal system should never be confused with the justice system.
Very often there is NO justice handed down.
There are travesties of justice in any system. And it has been my observation that it is easier to be thrown in jail if you don't pose a menace to society. But thats a bizarre case you cite. That is not the norm.
I don't advocate incarcerating more people. I advocate public service for crimes that don't endanger people, but still break laws. And stiffer penalties, longer sentences, for those who do endanger society.
thank you for your feed back i agree with all the statements and point of views i do believe that a revolt will happen people will fight back with horrfic affects it is unstopable fat cats go free while the poor go to jail the dangerous criminal walks free to do more harm while those who defend themselves go to jail innocent til proven guilty is only for those with lots of money everyone else go directly to jail do not pass go and do not collect 200 it is all wrong and it will crash it there will be blood shed this is the only outcome i can see weather it is good or bad only time will tell..........

How do you say good-bye to an animal that is part of your family? When you have an animal that has been with you for many years, how do you then 'get rid of the animal' because you have to move and the landlord doesn't allow pets?

So what are the odds that Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman (and their husbands) see jail time? Both were implicated in a wide-ranging college admissions bribery scandal. Since their kids weren't smart enough, they made sure that they paid enough money to certain people who got their kids into the...
