what happened when I was out shopping

   Well I went shopping the other day  so I got the bus into dandenong and got of it and walked to the street I had to go down just as I was turning the corner a bird landed  two inches from my feet  I stopped and looked at the bird and it turned it’s head side on and looked at me like well I am not moving  hurry up and go round .  so I did and  l looked back and the bird just continued walking on it’s merry was I just laughed.

   I'm guessing that was a city bird.  City birds and squirrels are a completely different "breed" than country/suburban ones, aren't they...   
   
   (Of course, then again, I live in a suburb about 30 miles in from the coast; and our shopping center has sea gulls, who are none-too-uncomfortable around shoppers.)

   Closest run-in with a bird I had was last summer...a hummingbird flew over and pecked at my hot pink hair scrunchy then looked at me before flying away, lol

   It sounds like the squirrels we have around here. I was sitting on my deck enjoying a cup of coffee when a squirrel climb its way up, sat only a less then a foot from me, nibbling some kind of nut in his mouth. I shooed it, booed it, and waved my hands. He looked at me like I was some kind of nut, seemed to shrug his shoulders and climb up to the third floor. I was insulted. LOL! True story.

      omg animals can be so funny at times behaving in a way that makes you laugh lol but that squirrel i would have loved to have seen

   Round my part of the world sea gulls don't care about humans and will often steal food (mainly chips and Cornish pastys!) from people's hands.

   I saw my first (and only) coyote (about twenty feet from my house) a couple of years ago.  It was a really beautiful animal, but I was spooked to see it so close at 3:00 in the afternoon.  I've always heard they're afraid of humans, so, keeping the storm door as my "shield" I opened it, and said something like, "Go on.  Scoot."  I thought he'd be shocked and terrified when a human showed up.  He wasn't.  He just kind of looked at me, appeared to think about it, and slowly sauntered away.  He was obviously more used to people than I had always believed they are.
