In the traffic stats for one of my hubs, there is a hit from domains.googlesyndication.com - What is that? I'm just curious to know...

    Can anyone explain..?

googlesyndication.com is just where the clicks from Google AdSense ads are directed to before you go to the advertisers Web site to count the click on the ad.

      Thanks for the reply smile

But I'm not using adwords for any advertising, then what can be the possibility?

Even if you are not using but still the Google ads are showing on your Hubs, right? It doesn't make any different whose ID is being used, yours or Hubpages. So long ads are there it is quite possible that traffic from googlesyndication.com may come.

        Most probable scenario :
Visitor clicked on an ad and before the click Ad got served (real ad site shown to the click'er) he went back to your hub.
Condition being, his browser is set to refresh every page move.
Some browser rely much on cache (Settings are there)

thats what my grey cells want to me to think tongue
        Cheers
