You poor thing. Your profile and hub are contraindicative of your forum post. What is wrong?

You can unpublish any hubs you have at any time,on your account/stats page. If you really want to leave then contact the team and ask for your account to be closed.

As your profile name does not identify you, you could just remove your profile info and image and then decide what to do later,if you wish to.

From my understanding if I am a member of Hub pages, I may never be able to have my own website and if any advertisers chose to want to advertise on my website I will not be able to have any advertisers on my website - is this true?

No. That is not true. Someone has been feeding you a pile of misinformation.

If that were true, this space would be empty.

That isn't true. I have two websites of my own and I still write on HP. I still gets ads on my sites and I still get paid from HP. Whoever or whatever you read is simply not true.

No, why would that be true?  I have several websites and Adsense on many of them.

no it isn't true - the only thing is that what you post here does count as a publication so you wouldn't be able to use it again in another place unless you change it.  is that what you mean?
