    To whom it may concern,

this is the title to a story I recently posted. The story was about sex education in New York City but soon to sweep the country. The subjects covered  by the sex educators were one sided and highly questionable for children ten and tweleve years old. My story was flagged by one of your monitors and the adds pulled off the story. as i tried to edit the story and at the same time call for a more fair representation the page went black and the story changed back into its original form.

I feel that I have been treated unfairly as the content of the story is not abusive or writin in a perverted way. The stories content is acceptable to all ages.

If in the future you flag a writer you should also highlite the offending passages.

Hubs are not unpublished based on subject. They are unpublished for many reasons such as grammar errors, being too short, having too many links to the same site, etc. Also, AdSense has a very low tolerance for any topics about sex.

I am not Uninvited, I have been a member for ten months. I believe my piece was well written. I tried to edit several times and was given a black screen only to have to start over again.  Once I deleted two lines about sensitivity classes I was somehow not dragged into the black hole, strange isn't it?

        Respectfully,

I know people who used to make a lot of money from Adwords (the other side of Adsense) about MLM money making opportunites. Then Google banned all ads about that.

Although I can understand why. They would talk about people trying it and making tens of thousands of dollars monthly. Sure Donald Trump made billions in real estate but that does not mean that you can also do that.

I suspect you are up against a problem that is Far More 'Deeply Rooted' than the subject matter! yikes

I agree, and that's fine as long as the Moderator can be more explicit in their complaint.  I think they have a problem with what my piece said because it hits too close to home.

The automatic filters for sex-related content are pretty strict and don't seem to have any connection to whether you are writing for titillation or information. I've lost ads on hubs about everything from different types of gender identity to ending marital rape.

If you contact the moderators, they may reinstate the ads, but I've noticed that if you ever edit the hub, it gets caught in the automatic filters again, so since I tend to go back occasionally and edit, I've found it's less of a hassle to just leave the ads off.

I think that if our work is to be judged by a filter that can't judge content it is a real disservice to all members and surly should be looked into.

As far as contacting a moderator I tried but found no clue as how to get to them.  I felt like the forum was the correct path.

It will all work out, Thanks for your help.

Flagging does nothing but draw the attention of Hubstaff.  If you want to know what the problem was I would suggest emailing them directly.

I wanted to write a Hub about deaths caused by pain killers.  Before I did, I emailed HubPages directly about 4 days ago, and still have not heard back from them.  When I Hop the Hubs, if I flag a Hub, I always state my reason, for what it's worth.  I'm guessing it was the sex thing, just saying....

If you edit the hub what reason is stated int he black box at the top?

The reason stated was the the Adds were pulled because of the moderators review. No other reason listed.

I tried and thought I was communicating with the staff through the Forum.

So when you open it in edit mode in the black box there is no comment and no clickable link? Any case I have seen, even if the email goes astray the edit mode states the reason and links to the relevant help page.

The way to communicate with the staff is by email directly. They may or may not eventually see it here, email is more direct.

sex education isn't running wild--its the kids having sex that's running wild.
NYC schools decided to take on the role of Parent since kids are having unprotected sex which brings on stds and unwanted pregnancies...

I agree, but the parents of these kids must engage or loose a generation. The outsider is not a trustworthy source I would trust my Grandson with. Who lives in New York State. I restate my case, Teach the parent, make the class madatory. The parent doesn't show up, the kid can't go to school.
Let the parent be taught how to teach the child. The subject matter is no appropriate or balanced.
