"Eli Manning led the Giants from behind to beat the Patriots in a thrilling finish at Foxboro."

The subject line and the above is quoted from  NFL.com

I just couldnt help myself and needed to post it.

What a day it was for New York Football.

The Jets win and the Giants beat the Patriots!

I was really surprised by the outcomes of both games.  I thought the Jets-Bills game could go either way, I did not expect the Jets to win so easily.  I definitely thought the Pats would beat the Giants by 7-10 points.

Glad I wasn't betting today.  Congratulations New York fans. Impressive day for both teams.

This win was just as impressive as the one in 2008, and we n ow know that Eli Manning just may be Tom Brady's kryptonite. Or the Patriots defense whatever works. Great forum

Manny you do have a way with words. . . I agree Eli is Bradys kryp-tonight!

And just like Deion said after the game. . I believe in Eli!

Teamwork is what makes wins like this so much sweeter. . just watch the Giants in the locker room... Magic . . pure magic and .so the opposite of what was going on, on the other side of the field. .

Did you see Brady ripping into Ocho on the side after Chad missed the one (of 5 pass in the 2nd half) he sent his way. Maybe if Brady would just throw the ball and stop hesitating he would find that groove he needs with him. Ocho has been pretty well behaved up to this point, and honestly I feel after seeing that whiny Brady getting all nasty on Chad on national TV he is gonna blow any second. . and lord have mercy who could blame him.

After the game reporters asked Brady about whether or not they’re getting any closer to getting on the same page.

“Yeah, we’re working at it,” said Brady.  ”I mean, we’ve only played together for eight games.  We’re just going to keep working at it.  We’ve got no other choice but just to keep working at it.”

Question I keep asking is why is it the Tom Terrific has such issues trusting Ocho?

Ha wink  as far as I am concerned. with the Pats coming into the Meadowlands next week, I hope the same page continues! Looks like some bad blood boiling in Foxboro and as half the season is over this sure aint the time to still be looking for that page!

      Hey Maita -

So very very nice to see you, ,, its been way too long!

Tough loss for the Steelers last night. . I was on the edge of my seat.

The good news is the Steelers face the Bengals next week!

Yes, Steelers lost, it can happen that way, sometimes they win, sometimes they lost against their sweetest paramour.

Vengeance is ours, Ravens team said that, hehe. Seriously their QB is getting better and Cincy can't be disregarded.

Hi Maita!!!  I didn't watch the Ravens/Steelers but I know all about it sad  Any time a divisional game goes on, it's more even-keel than a non-divisional game because each team knows the other better than most...So yeah, Cincy will be tough.

I really like Eli's demeanor.  I think he's progressed and now is an elite QB.

There aren't any sure things in the NFL, but expecting Dallas to beat Seattle is about as close as it gets.

Tebow looked impressive to me.  I'm pulling for him.  I also think Raider fans need to sit tight for two more weeks so Palmer can settle in to the offense.  I think the Raiders with a healthy Mcfadden will be very tough.

This week, the 49ers vs the Giants is going to be a big game:)  Really looking forward to it!

Obviously, this would be an amazing Superbowl...The only thing that would make it better would be if the two played in Super Bowl XLIX!!!  Which would of course be in the Big Snoopy = Metlife Stadium big_smile

        How are you?

Happy to see you back smile

Happy to see the Eagles lose to the Bears (though I do like watching Vick)

          And how have you been?

So far, the Patriots' games in 2011 add up to the NFL's worst defense (based on yards allowed). It's hard to picture a team going to the Superbowl with a defense that bad.

Anyway, right now it looks like the playoffs will only decide who is going to be cannon fodder for GBay.
