The Lord God is the God of absolute loyalty and exclusive devotion to all whom belong to him. Those whom unite with him are bonded with him through their own individual covenant. God do not break his covenant, what he promises is everlasting. He do not manipulate and lie to gain your attention. Therefore, those being united through the marriage contract of God covenant, which he, himself, being a witness too, should maintain his example of being that of absolute loyalty and exclusive devotion toward one another. The wife is the husband's crown, as those belonging to the Lord are his crown. And the wife is also the comfort of her husband, as the Lord is a comfort to his people. And the husband is devoted to his wife as the Lord is devoted to those belonging to him.
Be in the example of the Lord with one another. Talk and listen with one another; God warning to Adam was also regarding Eve, therefore, remember, the Holy Spirit speaking to one, must be heard together, for the Holy Spirit is the third strand of the marriage that keeps the braid tightly fit; God being the ribbon that binds the end, securing all that desired of his will to not separate. Therefore, listen with one another (not to another). Do together everything in unison; allowing the Holy Spirit to be the guide in all behavior that is willed of God. Be Patient and kind and understanding and loyal and truthful and sincere and forgiving and devoted; allowing for wisdom in all that is said and done. Remember, the motto of the Ten Commandments: Do unto another as desired done unto oneself; in all behavior to another follow in the example of God. As noted: In Scripture (Exodus 34:14)“God is the God of Absolute Loyalty and Exclusive Devotion.” The sacrifices rendered through marriage displays, the love by example of the sacrifice, the Lord God, his mercy displayed upon his death of mercy; for his loyalty was so great that he claimed the curse of death deserved of those he loved and those whom once hurt him, he forgave by his mercy. Be as God and through abounding love be in all desires, a sacrifice to one another.

As noted: By the Holy Spirit:

In Scripture (Colossians 3:13) “Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”

In Scripture (Colossians 3:9) “Don't tell lies to each other; it was your old life with all its wickedness that did that sort of thing; now it is dead and gone.”

In Scripture (Colossians 3:19) “husbands must be loving and kind to your wives and not bitter against them, nor harsh.”

      Good advice from the Bible.
I like the fact that you posted the last sentence.  That particular Scripture is often overlooked.
